Spaceboy, I feel deeply sad that you have met with such an unscrupulous scumbag of a human being. So many guilty parties, yet the innocent suffered the most. Seriously there is something so fundamentally flawed with our stupid system, with our HDB totally throwing aside such issues and playing pass the buck around.. I sincerely implore you to write a letter to the Straits Times Forum to highlight such d.amnable buyers, useless agents... and most of all the utter failure of HDB.

hello all been gone a few days!! just 2 more weeks to keys lalala! am gonna have my house inspection on 26... do you guys know what should I look out for and what can I test and demand that it be put right if it's not working? I'm concerned because the house has aircons and I was wondering can I test them to make sure they are working etc.. jeffcraze did you get jaskel to go with you during house inspection? haha.. i'm asking if he can come but he hasn't replied..

ah i see.. thought it's exactly the same and would be relatively affordable. We have a pretty clear idea about how the house layout should be like... so it's mostly the little nitty gritty stuff that we need your help to plug the gaps liao! Maybe the ceiling we can ask the plasterer to make extra smooth so won't have the bumps instead..

wow everything looks going well! just a question are you guys gonna put a false ceiling for the bathrooms? was thinking whether I should put in mine.. because the bathroom ceilings always looks abit bumpy and has holes in them..

yep super near him just a stone throw away! my keys will only reach me on 28 june.. D: hope to start reno very soon after that... i need to analyze the entire house to see how it should be first ba.. i really really hope to get mr jason aka jaskel! but haven't had a chance to talk to him yet.. i think it would be meaningful to talk to him when i can show him my house ba! i think i would like to invite him to join me in the house inspection before the handing over of keys..

I was looking at how your basin is an L shape with your counters, and boy i'm glad it can be done! I was worried if the basin pops out will it be leaving too little space between the toilet and the basin to walk pass.. lol i see.. maybe i will try other contractors like patrick from ho bee. it seems he hasn't gotten anything bad...yet!

WOW. first thing... i just spend 2hrs reading through.. and WOW what a journey for you fencer.. just wanna let you know you got another neighbour in me! My wife and I just bought a HDB in Simei Road as well.. and the lay out is the exact mirror image of yours! was abit apprehensive because of the funny shape where our 2 bathrooms pop out into the kitchen and mbr.. but I can see you have managed to do a good design with it (not withstanding all the heartaches the ID put you through) Just wanna let you know thanks for sharing all there is to know.. all the little nitty gritty details that will help new owners like me! And I totally empathize with you... The ID should be responsible and do a good finish with the entire house.. regardless whether the cost is 40k or 4k! It's something called professionalism, apparently missing in the ID you engaged. PS: MY FIRST POST HERE!!!!! PPS: Jaskel, if you are reading this... could you PM me??
