Agree, normal quotes for 2 toilets and 1 kichen normally from 16k upwards. Usually hover around 20k. Especially need to note how they charge the hacking and kitchen cabinets. If got concrete base for kitchen need extra, if want to do top and bottom for kitchen cabinets, might also require extra cost. But it all depends on how your id/contractor quotes for the relevant works. Need to confirm with them.

Just bought my flat and was brainstorming for ideas to do up my living area. Flooring for living area are beige homogeneous tiles (don't intend to change the tiles due to budget constraint). Actually was thinking of doing up a simple theme with white and black being the main colours but ditched the idea as we don't think the floor tiles can match that theme. Initially wanted a black sofa with white TV console and coffee table with chalk/lilac white paint for the walls (thinking of a slightly darker colour for the TV wall like Cozy). After much deliberation, we don't think that the black sofa and white furniture will sit well with the beige tiles.. Cracking our head for ideas now.. Now contemplating painting the walls coral and finding some beige/white coloured sofa which might be a better match for the tiles.. Still thinking of ideas for TV console and coffe table.. Any good colour combinations to recommend for my situation? Many thanks!!

Yup, very much agree with your point. Likely there will be an oversupply probably 4-5yrs in the future. This does not bode well for those who buy now and want to sell at the end of MOP (5yrs). This would likely mean that resale prices might be on the low side implying that there will be a loss in capital. This is definitely compounded by the fact that the current spate of new releases reach MOP in probably 2017-2019. Property markets going to explode with too much resale units.

But it seems like COV maybe heading south given the increase in supply of new flats. Also, looking at recent transacted prices from HDB, prices seem to be stabilizing (unlike the huge surge seen late last yr and early this yr). If not in a hurry maybe can just wait? Likely COV will stablize to around 20-30k for most units in Sengkang.
