hi hippobb, Thank for your warm welcome.

hi1548 the quotation is from contractor.

Never. Not even a single topic on electrical issue. So I am actually quite surprised how the contractor can quote me such amount. Dont know how the contractor calculated!!! He never even ask me the nos. of power points, etc.. Thankfully there is such a forum for us to discuss such issues. To be honest, I dont even know how the electrical breakdown costs is all about until I spend times reading through the forum.

Hi sazeryn, Thanks for sharing your electrical qoute. Really appreciated on that. As for my electrical quote, its jus an estimated quote on the electricity. No breakdown costs. No much discussion on this issue. My contractor mentioned that he will need to view my house before he can provide me with actual qoute. So $2800 is an estimated amount. (Not sure will be more or lesser).

Attached is my floor plan.... Its a WIW. The sliding door is to serve as a partition or separator btw the MBR and WIW.

Hi davidquek76, Trying to ask for quotations over the weekend. Seem like its a peak period now, all IDs and contractors stated that they will reply me within 2 weeks. They have alots of projects on hand currently. Thanks for your suggestion. But I dont tin I am able to do the co-ordinating job if to seek for few contractors on different jobs.

Hi davidquek76, Thank you for your advise. Agreed that I should seek for more quotations and compare the prices. As this quotation is done by sis in law's close relative so I am not sure on the prices that the contractor has quoted me. This is my first house so I am unsure of what to do. No one to seek help thus seeking help from all fellow members here...

Divorce But To Buy Over The Flat
Stone23 replied to bepgof's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
I totally agrees that why should the wife buy over the house at market value. I am divorced at the age of 28 with the full Care and Control of my daughter. As long as ur sil has the full care and control of her child, then she is eligible to have a flat of her own. All I do is to buy over his shares of the flat. All these was stated in the divorce paper. Simply I jus use my excess cpf fund to buy over whatever amount that he had contributed before. It's better to consult the lawyer who will provide a good advise. Being a woman, we must always think of ourself and our child's future. It's impt to have both a roof for shelter n savings for future use. Y not use the extra money in good use rather than forking out to buy over ex husband's share at the market value. Hope this information helps. Purposly register jus to share my experience... V Kay po. Wakaha!
