Thank you & have a good day. Regards...
  2. I think you may try going to Mustafa market section at level 2. They have wide variery of dates all year round. Another place is outside Joo Chiat Complex, near the bus stop area, below the overhead bridge. The shop is next to 7-11.
  3. Now its no longer in operation.. So sad... Checked with them, they ceased operation last month. Anyway, anyone knows any similar place where we can get good deal for crockeries & utensils? Perhaps in JB? Driving there this evening.. Anyone care to share? Thanks..
  4. Simon, Does Henry provides 3D drawing? Space planning and design ideas? Or perhaps any portfolio for us people who doesn't have any idea of what sort of designs we want... Kindly advise.. Thanks
  5. Hi All, My current tenant, an Indian national who's a Muslim, is looking for a place to live in since his contract with me ends this November. He is asking me a favor to look for a whole unit in Sengkang area or preferably very convenient to his working place in Harbourfront. Looking for a 1 year contract starting this November 2010. Rental amount $2000+ per month for a 5i. Need not worry about his background, as he is working legally as a vessel superintendent. Very prompt in payment, staying alone most of the time, and need not worry about cleanliness, coz its proven as he is my current tenant. For more detail regarding my current tenant, pls PM me too. Am just doing a favor for him to save him some agent fees. Kindly PM me if u have any lobang(s). Thank you.
  6. Thanks for e reply.. So I can say that to play safe, Hansgrohe is the benchmark for taps n such?
  7. Hi, Apart from Hansgrohe, I believed its somehow a "Premium" brand, right? So any kind soul, can enlighten me, what other brand is somehow offering reliable product, which can last for years, not overlooking good design as well?
  8. divineparadise, I seriously don really know about the comparison with those of Dunlopillo. According to the sales exec, its full latex lah.. Me being an impulse buyer, with rather limited budget, just think it is quite ok... I just say am looking for pocket spring, latex (she claimed its full latex). After lying down for a while, think its comfy, so just buy coz I knw I can't get something similar cheaper.. This is my so call "virgin" mattress purchase for my future own home...
  9. If u interested or consider its cheap can go down to Sungei Kadut King Koil sale, as today is their last day. Retail price displayed: $2k++ Discount Price: $1.2k++ Amount I paid after all discount: slightly above $1k. How's the pricing?
  10. Anyone went to Kingg Koil sale? Till today 2nd August... Grab myself a Sleep Perfect Super full-latex, pocketed spring 10" queen... So any comment on that? Kindly advise.. thanks in advance
  11. thanks rayu04.. They actually have a showroom... Maybe u can get some ideas from them as well... Quite impressive portfolio they have... I emailed them for quotation yesterday.. Yet to hear from them... Will update too... Cheers...
  12. So anyone ever use? Kindly advise please... Anyway is the pricing reasonable??
  13. Hi, Bumped into this somewhere... Kow Yee Interior Furniture Decoration Pte Ltd.. Specialized in l-box, etc etc.. Is the price reasonable? Anyone tried b4? Is the workmanship ok? Kindly advise yea....
  14. Hi there all, I understand tat cost of painting can easily reach 1k++.. I looked thru Straits Times, under classified section, there's few contractors who actually quoted me ard $500 for my whole 5rm flat using ICI paint. More interesting is dat, we can choose different colors depending on their availability.. Sounds too good to me... giving me headache now.. Anyone here actually tried those contractors? Mind sharing? Or are there hidden costs? I asked them, its $450 nett... Still ... Amazed...
  15. Hi Mister_molly, can I have ur L box contractor contact pls? Tanks yeah.. Have a nice day..
  16. Well... kor69... Just wanna stabilise my finance first.. No point to hurry.. Anyway the house which I got is pretty nice & decent.. Perhaps still in good condition... A bit wasted if I renovate too soon... Patience is a virtue ma fren...
  17. Wow... Heard wonderful stories about Henry from ID Note. Workmanship wise, scheduling, after sales services, seems top notch.. I would like to know, whether Henry provides designing ideas? Coz am nuts in designing... Or rather he provide his portfolio album for us to see? Example space planning, design themes? Ideas or feedback to make the house better? Ermm.. Ideas on painting colours, amount of lightings? Can he advice on this? Or if not... Can I just go to any ID company, ask them to come out a 3D design for me. Possible? How much will it cost? Well am not renovating anytime soon... Perhaps 2 years later, after I save enough money. Thanks all..
  18. Hi, I'm thinking of renting out one common room in Anchorvale Drive. Near to Sengkang Square, MRT & interchange. As for the room itself, it is equipped with all the necessities, including TV, aircon, WiFi & such. I will allow light cooking as well, & rental includes utilities. How much will the rental rate be? Checking on certain website, some are quoting from $550, even up to $650. So how do we determine the rate?? As for utilities, my concern will be how if the tenant really use it like nobody business, like turning on the A/C whole day, or really take no measures to conserve utility? This is my first time renting out my room. Hope u guys can advise me on this matter. Thank you.
  19. lionfreak, tks for reply... Alright, what i want is pretty simple. A tv feature wall is located near the window (highlight in red). That area i will furnish with sofa set, maybe an l-shape sofa. Looking to maybe put some additional floor lamp, n minor decorations, and thats it. Pretty simple, nothing really complicated. More of being simple n practical. Also considering putting a full height mirror on the wall (store / shelter) in between main door n kitchen entrance. As for dining area, just a dining set, perhaps a 6 seater. Kindly advise yah.. Thanks u all.. Am more concern with the ceiling n lightings anyway.
  20. Hi guys / gals... I am planning to make L-box n false ceiling for my living / dining area. Kindly refer to the photos to comment. Firstly I wanna ask, does this design make any sense? Will it turn out ok? Regarding the false ceiling near the main entrance, is it too wide? Lightings wise, with the downlights, is it sufficient to brighten up the house, or do I need to place cove lightings in addition to that? BTW, arrangements of downlights is it ok? Most importantly, design wise ok? And cost effective? Anyone wanna suggest better ideas, with better design and perhaps more cost effective? Planning to engage a company (being recommended by some forumers here), specialise in making cornices. Thank you...
  21. Talking about carpenter, I need to change the swinging doors (4 pieces) of my MBR as well as to change laminate of the frame. I got a quote from an ID around $800. Does anyone can recommend carpenter who's doing such job, at attractive price? If really good pricing, maybe I would like to make some amendments to my kitchen cabinet as well.. Thank u...
  22. Hi There, Just got a quotation for the below: 1) L-box for living & dining @ $15 pfr with metal structure holder ($1500) 2) 6 ft wall feature with laminated stainless steel strip & tinted mirror without suspended console ($1680) 3) Changing of doors (swinging) & laminate for MBR wardrobe ($800) Total plus dismantling of existing cornice & labour cost (I haven't see itemised detail yet) = $5360 Is it very expensive, acceptable or slightly expensive for this simple reno?
  23. ohh... so from the dimension above, justifiable here??
  24. What I mean remedial is to bargain more... Possible? Hehehehe... Dimension.... I attached it here..... Just retrieve from HDB... But from your judgement, 5I, Sengkang area, 110sqm in total, justifiable for $6k?
