  1. Hi i am an acoustic engineer. If you have any question please ask. 1) the wall that is heating up has it had any rockwool treatment? like a 40kg or somthing under 80kg? Normally when local contractors do soundproofing they use thermal/heat insulation rockwool instead of the high denisty special brands like NoiseBlock DFB. You would need someone to check this to confirm. Your problem is not to difficult to fix both for soundproofing and thermal. If you really do have bad thermal problems and not caused by rockwool, then a multi layer heatproofing membrane will sheild the house. Please give me some more details for me to give you more advice, if you get really stuck i can come over for free and help you find a solution.
  2. He there, I am an acoustic engineer. First of all we need to know more about your problem. Where is piano room and the relationship of other rooms and neighbours. I have seen many home use piano rooms in the last 5 years so i think i have a good idea of your problem. Depending on the set-up your neighbour below should be able to hear the noise you are making. As for your neighbours from the window not to worry about that if you are in HDB or Condo. The real question is what do you have in the room is it empty of have objects in? You may have a reverberation problem so treating one of the rooms with a foam is a good idea. A good solution would be to use a products called NoiseBlock IsoMat g10 for your floor, and for one wall NoiseBlock 3d foam. Any more questions please ask and i will do my best to help
