just shared a little bit of experience, even though the tile name, series no is the same, but if it is not from the same batch of factory production, we will get slighly tonallity issue. to some it is acceptable, to some it is not.
It is interesting to know that insurance company (bank appointed, as part of bank loan package i signed) started deducting premium for my Morgage Protector insurance weeks before my 1st appointment. Is this normal? does it mean even though bank has not yet released the loan, i am not legally own the flat and if anything happen to me, my morgage is fully protected and property goes to my parent, slibling etc??? the young lady from bank assured me it is but the seller can withdraw the sale anytime during 1st or 2nd appointment right? hmmm...
May be u can ask your contractor to use pre-pack material i.e. pre-mix cement & sand for screeding, pre-mix base plaster for plastering base. it shall cost less than $6-8 per 40kg bag.
sand supply has been stabilise since last 2 yr. these days we seldom use hand mix cement and sand anymore for quality consistancy. worker will tend to add a lot of water for workability.
u have to wait long long for main con to do it also. main con will be bz up side down handling the defect for whole development. and is the air con sub-contractor who install the air-con, not the main contractor.
Hi hi i am a newbie here.
Just bought a 'original' condition 3 rm resale flat with terrazzo floor & mosaic kitchen floor. Thanks God e 2 bathrooms r up-graded.
thinking of remove & re-tile the floor for Living, bedrooms, store, kitchen & full height kitchen wall. does any1 can advise how much will it cost? very tight budget. at 1st was thinking of overlay e entire floor, but worry abt the hollowness & de-bonding of tile. after all it is a 30yrs old original condition flat.
