  6. No, I didn't Subsequently I tried to ebay (they use to have them listed) and unfortunately they do not carry the models which I used. The damper is an additional device that clips onto the latch. The clip broke and couldn't mount onto the latch. Thank you cruise, I totally agree with you, and believe that post review of the service and product is important as well. Thank you for following my thread so far, I hope that this serve you well as a reference and guide. Goodluck with your renovations Peeps.

  9. Do factor some 280mm to 300mm of allowance to open your rubbish-chute. The kitchen sink may be limited to one one instead or duo.
  10. itchy fingers brought me back to my once favorite forum. 3 Years passed at the blink of an eye. And equipments are starting to fail, ie my kitchen dampers which I bought cheaply. given a choice we would consider saving up more for a better quality ones. The main thing I would like to share with newly weds and those whom wanted to start a family (with new family member) is this. Do put some space considerations for your little one for the future. I have a babyboy whom turned 8 months and starting to climb (all over me) now. We had saved a room for the littleone and this has turned into a storeroom for his toys, wardrobe, strollers/prams, walker. etc. So for your consideration in your mbr design, Do factor space for his (i) changing table (ii)baby cot/playpen your kitchen table (with plugs) to accomodate (iii) sterillier (iv)bottle warmer and for your toliet space to accomodate (v)baby tub one thing i appreciate for Ikea's Expedit is that it allows me to toggle the horizontal to vertical configuration. More to come.

  14. As I understand, any purifier using the Hepa is good enough to filter the PM 2.5 particles. If I may simplify; pm2.5 refers to particulate matter that is of 2.5 Microns in size. Hepa is a filer that is capable to filter off particles that is up to 0.3 Mircons (anything more than 0.3 microns), so does your N95 Mask. The only unfortunate thing is that purifiers have all sold out island-wide.
  15. Hello peeps, I will be giving away 1 x white Alpha fan V6 which i bought 3 years ago from Malaysia. It was used in my living room for about 2 year before i decided to change to KDK to accomodate to my baby's "Yao-Lan" height clearance. Self collect from TPY, You have to engage your electrician and wall bracket mounts. It was useable condition prior removal, you may wanna test out before installation. I will not liable for responsible for issues regarding this fan. Cheers.

  17. Thousand of apologies for those PM me of my previous contractor; my main con was Edmund Goh from A-decor, he is reachable at 98157337. Do bear in mind tt his quote is about 2-3 years old. Labour charge and material charges may have risen these few years. So do you diligence and homework, I wish you the best in your renovation and new home. Hi arkksin, I visited them 3 years ago as well. Got a quote from them. didn't engage their services. Check the yellow pages or www. Good luck.
  18. Frankfurt is a nice city, been there for a race just last year. easy to move around too. Israel should be beautiful, land of the gospel. Indeed, I took alota of time researching and space-management, being new house owners like us, there's loads of information to learn. Thank you, choice of kitchen cabinets colours is done by CFO; aka wifey. Haha, little did i know that time these little strips of mosaic tiles costs so much, from one wall downgraded to a strip. LoL And now grins and dirt are often accumulated a the lower part of my mosic showers. For new users; you may one to avoid this; unless you enjoy weekly cleaning like me. noticed we share a considerable no of toys; digital locks and big screen tv. Enjoy your new home.
  19. Very Nice Rover. Now you shown us all that an Island is possible within a 3-room HDB. Congrats on your new home. Love the photos too, you are an avid travel photographer?
  20. I love your lourve bi-folds, no tracks on the bottom too. Super! It looks fabulous and goes well with your concept. I am using a regular aluminium with translucent bi-fold and when someone uses the bath, lights will inevitably illuminate though to my bedroom as well. I suppose that you wouldn't expecting guests to use your bath since it is connected to the master bedroom.
  21. Hi Nexer, Looks like my fellow 3-roomer is almost ready to move in. Exciting times. If you don't mind me adding my 2-cents worth My MIL got us the same WMF products, ie the cookery set, we were however disappointed that the ears(handles) turned out to be hot when it was used for cooking Ended up that we have to use those rubber insulators to hold the ears. something that we didn't expect for the price of the cookware. You might wanna check with the sales-person. my MIL mentions that the higher-end range has the heat-free properties. Very unique 2-in-1 WC and Basin. Is this intended for brushing teeth also? I got a reasonably good deal last time for my curtains; made a simple comparison with other vendors too. The link is here Awesome, Servo-drive. Neat stuffs. Very thoughtful of you for your spouse. Are you able to deactivate at will? Is it by switching off the powersupply? At my stage; because of the arrival of my baby boy, a couple of things came to our attention, especially baby/child-safety. (perhaps for your consideration in the future) just to share a video To me, this is one of the best investment for my home too. I've never brought a key out of home ever. Really convenient when i leave home for run or ride. These tiles are really nice. I suppose you are the one cleaning in the future? Those grooves may not be the easiest thing to clean especially for kitchen when oil and grease are frequent passenger. I would thought so too, does it look the same from the lighting shop? Else chances could be that the hole made for the downlights could be too big. Nice WIW, i believe this should be your wife's pick. Did you include electrical socket within the WIW? As it can be stuffy inside.
  22. This fan no doubt looks pleasing to the eye. However the initial costs outweigh the energy savings. Assuming both kdk and Haiku are switched on 6hrs a day, 365 days a year, comparatively the savings of "50Watts per day" And that Singapore Electricity charge is $0.2388/kw So you saved 7cents a day and about $26 a year. How many years would the fan need to run to make its value worth? Just a thought.
