  2. Got a white trunking to conceal the black cable. Cheap and quick fix. You may wanna do the same for your speaker cables if you are gonna do it for the TV. IMHO, there is never a "too big". After half year, my wife was telling me that our 50" is a little small for our 3 room ;P

I love your loot, I had my share of blurays from amazon as well ;P The simple-human dispenser is really handy however be warned that it sucks up your 4x AA battery real fast ;P
  9. As previously mentioned in the link, i got it 30% off the retail during renotalk groupbuy. So it costs about $966 with installation and warranty. Didn't buy my locks online; i feel that these security staffs (esp the first defense to my home) ought to be installed by the SME and support when things fail. my 2-cents.

I would recommend London - Paris - which part of Italy? - which part of Swiss? After anchoring down your literary, you can subsequently plan for domestic/ inter-rails. The good thing about traveling ard Europe is they are well connected by railways. information for places of interests can be easily obtained googling online or from our local library; i would recommend 'lonely planets' for your travel needs. I have visited Europe twice in 2009: London - Paris - Nice - Monaco - Milan - Klagenfurt - Vienna in 2012: Munich - Vienna - Klagenfurt - Salzburg - Frankfurt - Zermatt - Zurich. PM me if you need infor, cheers

  18. Hi piggychoy, Pardon my late reply, I did my homework and search for the best deal and Edmund is the main contractor. I covered the laminates, false ceiling and tv console separately. In additional, the quotes I got were backdated 2 years ago. So to be fair to the contractor and all, do factor all these as a consideration.
  19. Possible but it maybe ugly, The only concern is that you may be expecting 3 pipes sharing the same spot as your utility room door. Prehaps 2 from the top (hot+cold water) for your storage heater and 1 at bottom for water expel from your washing machine to toilet. Cos legally, you are not allowed to hack/drill though the "darken walls".
  20. Hi gianfransco, If you would to follow my thread, my Samsung TV is a 50". IMHO, there isn't a "too big a TV size" My wife was initially against the idea of getting such a big tv size, in fact, we budget for a 40". Now, she's saying that, "Our TV's a little small" So get the largest you can afford. ;P The question that i would like to throw is rather, where you are gonna place your TV and sofa for the best viewing pleasure. Thanks for dropping in. Glad tt you find them useful. Goodluck for your renovations guys.
  21. Sent. Hi Jazzysoul, Welcome to the neighbourhood. The tv console/ shoerack took up part of the bedroom, Refer to the WIW thread from my shortcut below; The depth measures 600mm, which includes the tracks for the grey mirror. Masterroom pictures can be viewed from the "Before/ After" thread. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=31653&view=findpost&p=601034 hope this helps.

  23. Saw this that might interest you: KingKoil Warehouse Sale Date: 31st Aug - 3rd Sept Duration: 9am- 9pm http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=52140 I got a mixture of Grohe and Hansgrohe. It is expensive but you are paying for its value and quality. my Grohe faucet still looks nice and shiny after 2 years. I remember visiting a old traditional hotel with at least some 30+ years and they are using Grohe products. There's ppl installing it without a storage heater nevertheless. I'm using it with a storage heater. Works well. You might wanna consider using a larger cold water pipe to run to your house. Nothing much we can do about pressure.
