Dear all, jus started renovation on 3 May (Mon). Will be posting my renov pics and progress. Pls feel free to comment and advise. It is a AMK 4NG, resale, 92 sqm, top floor unit. Bought it for too much $$. Was in very bad shape, so I am overhauling it, keeping only the old marble flooring in the living room to save costs. Doing: -laminate flooring for 3br -kitchen and 2 toilets -hacking of wall between 2 br -rewiring and plastering Engaged Plus Interior for the renov. Will be posting pics soon.

Dear all, chanced upon this forum a while back and decided to start posting to share what I experienced when renovating my place. Saw zhiz's posts and learnt a fair bit so thought I will also share with all my experience so that all may benefit. I have engaged Plus Interior to renovate my 4rm HDB @ amk, 92 sqm. I gave him a budget of 25k and in the end, I am doing it for 29k. The b/m states what I am doing for the house: - hack 1 wall betw master br and 2nd br - laminate flooring for 3 br - redo kitchen and 2 toilets (everything) - feature wall for storeroom cos the current facade looks too yucks. excludes doors/windows/gate, rewiring, plastering, plumbling, all furnishings Not sure if ex, but think after a while, price comparism betw the ID firms becomes meaningless cos workmanship and relationship with ID is more impt. Here is wishing me a pleasant renovation experience as I am starting it next Mon. Will be posting pics and regular comments here as well. cheers
