He also ensures that he breaks down the quote nicely for us so that it is very clear what we are paying for. Sadly, because of my own budget constraints, I may or may not take up his work. Hope you have more budget than me and can consider them

Helloo everyone! I just wanted to find out from people who've used Ideal House whether the quotation that is given you is quite accurate (i.e. no hidden costs??). I would hate to have such a nice quote within my budget and then suddenly realise I have to pay extra for this and that! As such, from your experience, what do you think? Also, any feedback on the workmanship? Thanks!

Also, I can set my budget low I guess, but I am just wondering whether or not it is a realistic budget!! I see that your ID is from Ideal House? How do you find them so far?

Hi! How big/how many rooms is your condo? Is $16k considered a lot? My budget was about $20k for a resale condo, 3-rooms, not sure if it is a realistic sum, so just wanted to find out. With regards to carpentry, mainly feature walls, in the living/dining/corridor area and the master bedroom. Not sure why one of the IDs we approached charged us about $28k (and up!), though he was recommended by a friend and seems quite reliable and easy-going...

Hi everyone! I am in the midst of looking for quotations for my new place. I have been wondering if my budget is realistic, since the quotes I've been seeing on the forum have been 30k and up, and sometimes for a 3-room flat?! My budget is about 20k, for a resale condo, where I will not have to do the floor, but will probably do up some feature walls for the living/dining/corridor entrance as well as the master bedroom. Other things include changing the master bedroom cupboards to a sliding door one, changing kitchen cabinet doors to glass/aluminium. Doesn't sound like a lot right? But one of the IDs have charged us about $28k, and that is not even inclusive of furniture. Will I really have to spend so much?? Sigh. Advice appreciated!
