Once you confirm everything and sign up with ur contractor/id, they should be able to start almost immediately ... however I understand from some of my friends there are some contractors who are "pang dang" and they do not 开工during hungry ghost festival and will take the opportunity to rest and travel ... but then again.... ur contractor already says they will start b4 hungry ghost then u shouldn't worry too much la..

Guest rm wardrobe Son's rm wardrobe ... kiddo wanted 1 side of wall painted bright orange Some hiccups on Sunday 25th July .... delay... was up at hse yesterday morning and when we went into the kitchen... we shockingly found 1 piece of the back splash has shattered!! see the pic below ...this was the same piece that had fitting problem last week and was regrinded down.... seems like the grinding down could have weaken the glass ... hopefully this piece gets replaced by end this week so that the table top measurement and fabrication can proceed... sigh..

I went down there on Fri afternoon and got a carpet for my son too!!

Moving in this Sun ... sigh.. still got lots of minor stuff here and there to be done up and also got tons and tons of stuff to unpack... and lots of cleaning to be done.. bopian lah told contractor liao tat we die die need to move in Sun cos FSM says its a good date for our "Ba zhi" ... if cannot finish then have to come next week to continue lor... these few days on half day too to work on the loose ends ... btw if u happen to see my hse windows open ... u r welcome to pop by say hello and take a peeps lah... 50m away is very close u know.... maybe we can shout to each other like tat ... hee hee

Day 52 - 22nd July Nothing much in the earlier part of the day... mostly deliveries ... then painter was here to do touch ups... but there were some hiccups - painter while trying to finish the colored living rm wall accidentally painted it with the wrong color paint! now the piece of wall looks like milo color even though painter coated it with 2 layers of paint.... contactor says will settle for me ... Workers for the glass works came in the early evening targetting to install the kitchen cabinet backsplash but found of the glass piece could not fit the cab by 4mm... the glass works sup says the piece needs to be grinded down... and have to be back another day... they then moved on to install the main entrance half height black glass mirror, kitchen entrance glass door & mbr toilet glass door.. half height black glass mirror installation at the main entrance..... Son "supervising" the glass workers installing the kitchen entrance door... so many glass workers... installation of mbr bathroom door... samsung also came to install the tv bracket... mbr bathroom door

I thought you were at the blk behind 14x... ur hse is at the corridor end.... u seal up the small window already??

Day 51 - 21st July the carpentors helped to clear away the stuff at the dinning hall to get ready for my dinning table tmr ... spent a good 45mins cleaning the black mirror room doors up today.. concealed shelfing for my players and some barang barang... door to the shelves not installed yet .. entrance to our wiw
