Thanks Pinkpetter!!! - the legendary brainybimbo hee hee.. we din have any theme at first but becos our existing sofa (the one in the pic) was brown in colour so we thought why not do something earthy and simple theme... and we ended up loving this ... the earthy colours are indeed very soothing to the eyes ... the only thing that we thought we should have done better is the foyer area.. cos without switching on the light at that area, it can get pretty dimly lit ... the ledge at the foyer was a last minute addition cos our FSM says becos of the lighting we needed to put any mirror and the 3 statues of FU LU SHOU ... and we ended up with 1 big piece of half height black mirror and the ledge...

Hi Kenlim_76, Thanks.. Will email u my ID contact ... The fan is an alpha 56" fan.... we got it from the shop beside Alighting in geylang ... I think the shop is national something.. we actually wanted black colour but black nil stock so we go with the bronze colour... the blades are acrylic blades this is one of the newer models ... the center motor head is like a round ball ... got it as we thought this is not so common and round is nice...

Whar samgalz ...really bad customer service... glad u resolve ur issue liao... btw did u buy direct from kingcoil or from their authorise dealer? the bed frame is also from king coil ah? cos I also got similar issues with my old king coil bed the last time before my hse reno but I got the deal from their king coil authorised dealer ... and the dealer service sucks big time when it comes to replacement...

Bro.. quick qn.. where do u intend to have ur opennet junction box located? The guideline is to have it located next to TV... do u have to open up ur false ceiling? my blk installation will start only 1 sep... wanted to ask contractor to do provision but he says not nice ...and says if opennet come just ask them to open hole first and later he help me patch back....so I think most likely I need to open up my false ceiling...

to get the MP to write u a letter requesting for governement to give u subsidy for ur toilet issue so that u can present this to HDB.... otherwise u will need to fork out 50% and ur upstairs neighbour 50%...

also bro.. if its the flooring crack in the waterproof cement screed... then the responsibility lies with HDB.... but if the leak is caused by the piping then I think the responsibility lies with town council and not hdb...

Bro, I also got the similar toilet leaking issues .... very troublesome... first either the seller needs to settle it with the upstairs neighbour or in some cases the seller will pay you the money and u settle it with the upstairs neighbour... then.. in order for goverment to give u the subsidy which is HDB pays for 50%, u pay 25% and ur upstairs neighbour pays 25% and ur upstairs neighbour will get the most out of it - a new toilet ... either the seller or u need (in ur case better ask seller to do it) to go to ur MP and get a letter from ur MP ... then with this letter HDB will contact their own 3rd party contractor to do the work... the 25% is roughly about 250+ bucks... and that is provided ur upstairs neighbour is willing to accept the charges... (actually most pple will accept the cost ...cos they are the ones who will benefit) always try to make it official.... do not go and engage a 3rd party contractor urself or do not let ur neighbour engage a 3rd party contractor themselves... Hope it helps...

guess at one point of time, rockstone spraying was the trend eh? so far on the normal walls no cracklines... but my contractor did mention that on the walls that are newly built up ... will be more prone to hairline cracks especially on old flats.. and if there are any he will send his guys to do touch up... anyway we just found a very tiny hairline crack on one of our newly build up wall which used to be a door way...
