Hey just wondering the joints for your stainless steel pipes are made of stainless steel also? I was told by my ID, there are no s/s joints in the market, only copper ones. Is yours coated or what?

Anyone engaged them for their home renovation? Any reviews or feedback?

u have the same layout as my house but i am so envious u can buy the space outside your main door and make it a foyer.... mine is a door to door unit in bedok north.

contractors are quoting about $800 per pipe change, making it close to 2k for the 2 toilet pipes plus the kitchen pipe. I have heard from other forumers can inform town council and they will send their authorised plumber to get all change for only $300+. Can anyone verify this.

Hi guys i just got a resale flat and sad to say the flat hasn't got its kitchen and toilet pipe upgraded by HDB to the pvc type yet. I understand that HDB upgrades the estates pipe at a heavily subsidised fee (owner pay small amount). I am hoping to benefit from it although there is no announcement to upgrade the sewage pipings. In this case is it possible to ask HDB to provide a contractor and have the piping replaced at the subsidised rate?? Someone please enlighten me here. Thanks a lot!

hi i got a question, i recently purchased a 4 room hdb resale and it already came with a 3 unit mitsubishi a/c system in all the bedrooms. I was thinking of 2 options but not sure about the cost. 1) Replaced the sys 3 with a new sys 4 invertor with all bedrooms and living room airconditioned. 2) Keep the current sys 3 and change the position of the aircon units and replaced all the trunking + install EuropeAce portable aircon in living room. The current sys 3 is only 2 years old. Which will be the ideal choice and how much for both options roughly? Thanks for your advice guys.

Attached is my floor plan. hi gals mama, I also purchased a resale flat recently and got a similar kind of layout (4NG door to door). I am keeping the flooring and kitchen cabinet. Haven't check out any ID yet, hope to spend less than 20k. I do agree the bathrooms are very small, so my intention is to hack the MBR toilet wall and extend it outwards into the MBR. Also like to have hotel toilet See if u can give me any idea here....

Hi Coldflamez, BTW i understand you need approval to build the toilet into your bedroom right? What is the maximum you can extend out and any other special rulings? My recently purchased resale flat has got a very small toilet, thinking of extending the MBR toilet too. Just curious why didnt you hack the whole wall down rather than just a door size entrance into your shower from the MBR. Looking forward to your pictures to see what u did to it!!!

Hi guys i just bought a resale door to door 4ng in bedok and i find the toilet in the MBR very small and cramp. I was just thinking if it is possible to hack the bathroom walls down and expand it inwards to the MBR. Alternatively i was thinking of shifting the basin out of the toilet and placed it in the MBR and make a vanity top (like hotel). Anyway i thought of this is because my MBR is basically a walk-in wardrobe as the wall between the MBR and the adjacent bedroom has been hacked. Is my suggestion approved by HDB?? I just want a more spacious and nice MBR shower/toilet.
