the material used to get that 90 deg corner is plastic strips. my house also undergoing plastering now. some portions also slightly exposed. I supposed they should touch it up later on, otherwise if painted over can cover we also don't know...

i wonder how did your contractor move that long solid surface top to your house? or is it cut into 2 pieces?

ok time to update u guys with some 3D drawing from my ID Alan. This pictures are from the 1st draft and there will be some changes along the way. My place is at bedok north road, too bad not neighbours. haha There was already an opening between the MBR and bedroom when i purchased the flat but its just a door way, not the whole wall. I will have a sliding door to cover it up. Yah my wardrobe is really big...enough to store a lifetime of clothings for my wife and i. Hahaha

same layout as my house and i am also in the midst of renovation...shall see how our house turn out to be like. I am expanding my mbr toilet instead with walls all around, unlike yours with the basin exposed.... i do agree u have a nice kitchen design....

sorry updates have been slow as i just gotten permit to hack the kitchen and toilets next monday. So far the contractor has been working on plastering the house up. sigh.... its been almost 2 weeks and i still haven't gotten the approval to hack my kitchen and bathroom..... Called up the HDB branch office TO and found out he was on mc since 2 weeks ago and disappointingly no one took over to handle the approval. The substituting guy still gave me excuse say their system down for 2 weeks, and worst of all he told me they may need another 2 weeks because i am going to hack and extend the MBR toilet and they need to consult the main office structural team and PE. pissed off!!!!!
