Hi I am looking to replace my home's standard e27 fitting light bulb to led ones. Preferably philips as they have up to 13w=100w lighting which produces 1050 lumens and is good for a bathroom. Cheapest so far I saw was $23+ at home fix terminal 3 for the 13w ones. Anyone can share? Thanks.

i also have these bugs u mentioned in my 30 over years bedok flat.....till today i have no solution except for vacuuming them or stick them up using masking tapes.

However the whole assembly and recently come loose and gaps are forming at the sides thus releasing the foul smell. I have heard so much about the maxden rubbish hopper and I would like advise from you guys who have installed it. It's costly at $480 and I wanna know if its a worthy replacement. Thanks a lot in advance.

Water droplets means confirm got water leakage. Call your HDB branch office and ask the technical officer down to access it.

Anyone using the Osim water filter? I am using the hyflux gurgle but find the water pressure too small. Seen the Osim one before and thought the pressure looks good and the shower mode water distribution good also. The hyflux one water pressure too high and narrow for shower mode.

Just to share this with u guys. I tried spraying the magic clean mould killer on the wall then wipe it off later and the mould actually came off. Don't know if is beneficial in the long run or not.

Yes all these resulted from the water seepage from upstairs. It wasn't so bad at 1st but the stupid Hdb accessor who came early last year say we cannot complain until a water droplet fall. **** it, not it is so bad and I don't get co payment with Hdb and my neighbour.

hi yes all these done and neighbours started repair of floor. But the contractor will only cover painting on my ceiling. However the condition on my ceiling is so bad that painting alone is not enough.

Hi all, I had a ceiling water seepage prob in my mbr toilet and now my neighbour upstairs is doing their toilet floor repair right now. Next up I need to repair my toilet ceiling with lots of peel patches and bubbling spots. Would it be wise to ask for contractor to the the plastering for me or should I do it on my own? How much would each option cost and the difficulty of doing it by myself? Can someone pls advise me?

Hey i am suggesting that u hack down the wall in your master toilet as u wanna step into the ''dry area'' first which is your toilet bowl area rather than the ''wet area'' shower area and move your basin against the wall instead. btw what is your block number in bedok? Didn't know bedok 4ng got this kind of layout...

Hi yes u are correct, can only extend as dry area. That is what i did exactly, the basin was install in the dry area. What they meant was the extended area can't be use for showering. So my shower screen is still set up within the original toilet area. Hope u understand what i was saying. Anyway HDB rule is can only extend out by 60cm, which is quite miserable. If u and your contractor don't mind going against the book, u can actually extend it out further more.
