i would like to chap jit ka to contribute ..to show my ignorant and wise experiences on such products. Likely the water feature topic came out because the fsm said the owner's house has a water element, therefore that location should put a water feature or a fish tank or moving water, etc Like myself, my house has a water element location, so i bought a $30 water feature in the past. Problem is i m lazy to change water, water dry up, and sometimes lazy to top up water. - this was then my first year of fengshui visit by fsm. In the end i threw away the water feature. Actually i do not know what "water element" represents in the house. The last few years without "water element", my life goes on. Was my life worst off ? I do not know the impact towards that "water element in my house". Last year, i feel that it should continue to have water element (sometimes i feel like doing it). But that $30 water feature gave me a bad experiences. So this time no more water feature. Now I am a fish lover and prefer to put a small tank instead (i do not put arowana/dragon fish because i put them into rented huge ponds instead as i know tanks must be 6 feet to accomodate such fishes). I love gold fish (in the past used to do that) ...so i decide to put a 2 feet tank high up on cabinet (at least this tank water element must be above your waist level or eye level (like those Qing ming festival - u prefer to pray your death ones at eye level for convenience ..hahaha). And the tank has been there. Does that water element tank helps me ? i don't know. But it did remove the hassle of dirty water (with simple filteration system), top up water (ask maid to do), put in 8-9 gold fishes and more of a eye pleasure. And this year, when i see a bazi guy (see other threads), he told me my bazi has enough water element, therefore house fengshui (i happen to raise a topic of house fengshui) no need to add more. (btw my wife is also of water element). I do not know what it means, but i continue to maintain my tank in the LEAST ADMINISTRATIVE EFFORTS.

just an update of last visit : geomaner told me this year if take exams this year, i will surely pass. Now i want to highlight something under these 2 scenarios : a) if i did not study, will i pass exams BEFORE meeting the geomancer ? Common sense tell you it is a Definitely NO. How to pass exams without preparation ? b) "Unconsciously or unknowingly" , I did study first (put in efforts in 2012) and clear all exams in 2013, AFTER that, met geomancer and he told me my exams will be a breeze in 2013. Was it a coincidence ? Therefore from this experience, it may states that: 1) when bazi is defined, somehow a "unconscious or invisible" effort took place in human being like myself to put in efforts for exam (before geomancer forcast), which "coincide" to the end-result that geomancer told me that "this 2013 year - exams sure passed" (but i did not tell geomancer i m taking exams) If (1) is always true, and what if one year ago i see the geomancer and he told me 2013 will be a best time to pass exams, then i would start accumulating all exams to take place in 2013. So probably bazi is really fixed and provide "some future trends" and i consider it a tool for PLANNING.. Share your thoughts please.

i do agree with kcwee on sales pitch (though geomancer did not insist on sell sell sell) and i think i know why the geomancer "highlight" to me the "add-on" service ...maybe he "forsee" i am wealthy for the next 30 years and the affordability index is high. Or maybe should have print out joey yap's bazi tool and ask geomancer to interpret since both computer and hand-written are the same. I always thought bazi is about 5-10 years thing in general, compare to ziwei which is yearly for the different boxes ? 2. person house luck ? can define a bit more ? 3. he did tell me which exact wealth years will come , but do u know of any master who can tell which week or month instead of years ? He told me he is unable to predict which days or month. Maybe his skill level not there ? 4. wife thing : i doubt anyone can see Person's X bazi and then "infer" another person's bazi characters with much details. In that case, might as well i be your friend, then he infer my characterisics from your bazi instead ? I would say geomancer stated "my wife and myself do not interfere each other" is already good enough in a summary which i faced almost everyday , than in details on what exactly happen is really unbelievable. 5. As for the apprentice and class thing, that i do not know how the industry work. I never see any classes there. 6. As for the 4k thing, he told me it is for house fengshui for "add-on" service. Like what you said, if u have a good bazi, no need to spend $$$ on house fenghui and bazi will take care of everything. i forgot to add a point during the zi wei on health box - which is interesting like retrieving out my dark secret. He told me i like to sleep in the afternoon most of the time. (I was scratching my head and thinking he talk nonsense ) you guys must be wondering and very unlikely scenario ...actually hor ...during lunch hours weekdays, i often go to foot massage and did sleep during the session and this has been MANY YEARS liao ..not one month or two month thing. ok guys, this topic really bothers me. If house fs has the initial baseline fs done, is it necessary to audit each year ? As my previous threads, that geomancer say do ONCE enough, then i read other threads - seems to have to audit each year. I used to audit each year, but stopped 3 years ago becos i do not wish to pay foolishly. And so far nothing disaster happen to me. (my bazi say i won't have major diaster coincidentally). Now can you folks debate here ? or different school of thoughts ? What i want to know is a CLEAR crystal answer

I would suggest you go see the basic ba zi of $30 and most u loss only $30. Maybe my bazi is too common and he can provide answers easily. BTW i forgot to say that when he first hand-written the bazi chart - i compared his plot calculations with joey yap free tool bazi and all characters are the SAME. I would say computer generation or hand-written are the same EXCEPT in translation and interpretion which is dependend on the Master per se. As for zi wei, he will pen down every chinese words (sorry he no good in english, but can use dialect) for each boxes in general in writing. And he takes 10 days to write it down. And he really explain most of it instead of superficially explain. I think the older forum members remembered in the past, i wrote about fs master Mr Dong Noong Zhen - if i remembered clearly, he only superficially explain zi wei - eg i remembered he told me i should be staying in condo (that was few years back) . Compare to his geomancer, at least he tell me i have 2 properties which are more detailed. Yes he provide the ups / downs of each boxes.

Before i go into details, i had friendly discussion about himself (there was a loud lion dance / dragon dance) - so we kind of stop talking but talk informally about other matters. I find out more about him a) he told me there are many templates in interpreting the destiny, but he focus only on bazi and zi wei b) his house fengshui experience - he told me he followed his teacher in HKG and they even audit a Brunei palace before. (he can say anything he wants here) c) house fengshui - he told me it is necessary for ONCE baseline will do and it changes the next 20 years. (hmm if that is the case, why should i follow other fs master and was told yearly audit is necesary ?) - maybe other forum members can comments. d) He told me he has relationship with thai monks - which he say if i ever need such services, he can consult him. Let me describe a bit more on this below Anyway i guess that was just a sales speech from him - main thing whether he is good in interpreting my data chart. 1. Health - he told me i have respiratory problem when young, few years later i will outgrown it - 100% accurate (i have "hey gu" (hokkien translation) during young days and i have outgrown it. 2. properties - he told me i have 2 houses now - 100% accurate. 3. wealth - i cannot keep wealth in younger days, only middle age onwards - my wealth is well managed and keeps increasing. - 100% accurate. Also he told me i have no inheritance - 100% true 4. type of wife i married - my wife don't not interfere my life and vice versa - 100% again ! Also say my wife got earning power (hehe sometimes i borrow $ from my wife) - 100% accurate 5. Marriage - 100% again. He told me i married late and at what age i got married. 6. However if u moved house, he will again do free of charge to move the 5 pearls to the new house (aiya it like moving your home altar to another new place) - This service cost $4k. ii) house fengshui - he charged about 780. I ask him what he needs to do to make things better at home, is it placing objects again ? He told me yes, and something cost $100+ dollars, but not necessary to do all this. I've given a comprehensive description on him. I would say interpreting PAST data is accurate. Does that mean interperting future data component is accurate too ? That remains to be seen as i have many years ahead of me to reflect back. Also the sales speech describe by him (house fs and monk thing) - was it another "make money scam" for people who wants to chase better lives ? I cannot comment, but is this a bad impression to his translation skillset ? Total damage i paid : $200 for zi wei (if it is expensive, please look for alternatives). If you have $20 ziwei or direct internet translation, please let forum members know. The geomancer is unit # B1-07

Actually psychologically, i did not "pre-believe" in life destiny (because i cannot see or touch them) When I approach BaZi, it is more of "where to head" in the best directions. As for 2nd guessing, i see it this way a) when pple go for 2nd guess or 3rd guess or see number of times with different geomancers, i would say they really want to see someone who can interpret data as accurate as possible. (past data, not future). I would say (for myself only) - if one can accrately describe to the minutes details of the PAST based on data, then i would say the geomancer is experienced and learned enough to "forcast the future". b) I still have doubts on people forcast into future, therefore i still have reservation on this point until i met a geomancer who can tell me more details on point (a) Now may i know how many technics or templates available that can tell a person's past or future ? Is it only Ba Zi and Zi Wei only which reads the birth date ? Sorry i do not believe in cards , etc
