Ok house fenghui is a must because we buy and stay there. Now as employee, we cannot determine where we sit, etc. And worst, i doubt any of us will bring a geomancer into the office and setup strategy in your own sitting partition. But we spend 8 hours there minimum. Does office fengshui play a part ? If yes, how do u approach the problem of making a better fengshui for your own location, bearing in mind that it is crazy to bring a fsm in to "look" around ?

I come from a "consumer" background - therefore i may question, kindly answer as layman as possible. Questins 1. zodiac sign is too general - but does it really impact to a certain percentage ? 2. So actually to be "better" is to use house fengshui + individual bazhi ? Does office fengshui counts since we spent 8 hours there ? 3. Question post by bepgof - how can past, present and future be recorded ? ==> so Bazhi is not about "prediction or liklihood", then what does Bazhi indicates as a nutshell ? 4. So those "fan tai sui" thing - is just a wayang since animal zodiac is too general ? In another words, can i ignore the fan tai zui thing in future ?

After reading this topic, i m totaly confused. I guess best way is to BORN filthy RICH in the 1st place - and you don't have to care all the rules set by govt. How i wish i m rich to buy any property i like without thinking of all these cpf (put in , put out) rules.

Those chinese zodiac signs - eg cny period, various tv programmes or fsm will say "this animal will etc etc" Are these signs half truth, really truth or NO truth ? I believe in NO truths in it, otherwise everyone will be the same under predictions. Can someone enlightened further ?

Here in forum, pple ask "which fsm is good , etc", "renovation strategies, etc" Honestly what do we actually want from the FSM ? We can't be asking for EVERYTHING. What is the most important thing u look for after FSM review or during FSM visits ? If FSM could do only ONE thing at a time, which one would you choose ? Let's share. You never know different people would come up with different "ideas". To start ball-rolling, for me (if FSM can do only ONE thing in your house) : i would choose Career, ie work-place - can solve problems and no problems accumulated at my area.

Good to hear alternative views. Actually i am someone who is 99% scientific (always try to reason and attempt to get proof than hearsay) and also a "cheapo" customer (pay something must get returns). I guess at that time, i m desperate for a change of environment that i attempted fengshui strategy. So when i get a new job now, i thought of sharing with forum whether this fsm "improved my luck" or we can also assume "PAP govt did a good job to bring recession out and create jobs". So it is up to individual to make up their 2 cents worth. Of course if i don't send resume, no one will interview me. By same illustration on putting paper under study table (might as well hold the buddha leg), people no need to study liao. Perhaps i worded it wrongly that Mr Tong Noong Chin only assist "existing" customers. I need to put in context here that we only communicate every 9 months or so , so he won't deduce my problems, but i was the one that approach him and tell him straight the problems. You are also right something on the "self-believe" thing. I guess since i paid the money, might as well do what he says. nd remember, that i am a very fussy customer, if it does not work, i will also tell in forum. I guess the saying "in desperate situation, calls for desperate measure". Honestly if i m not desperate, i won't be calling fsm for advice.

my family prayed to Guan Yin (with joss stick). When i bought my condo few years back, i went to Chu Li Shi (near Bukit batok driving school) to "dot eyes". Just go to the receptionist and ask for a date where a monk is available to say the chant. The monk will then do the rest. As to whether to "redo" the dot-eye process, i am unsure whether there is a need. Also each year during CNY, i would invite lion dance to my place and the lion will also bow to Guan Yin. Which sometimes i perceive the Guan Yin to be very happy/smiling during that period. Maybe it is just that everyone in family is happy that i assume Guan Yin to be in celebrating mood. hahahahah

I don't insult these professionals, but i always like to have "value for money" services... Otherwise what for i pay $$ for services, but as well save $$$ for milk powder .... Oh yes, Mr Khor look at my palm then. Told me that there is a great change in my life around 42 year old. The change could be a career, money or something positive. I can say he predicted correctly. He kind of predicted my characters well too. If you look at my chinese age, i m actually 42 (Western date 40 years old). Should have question him further on western or chinese date. Well i did get some information from him a few things: a) he told me doctors and lawyers do see him. (pls take it as a pinch of salt since i was alone with him and did not see him with doctors / lawyers) b) palm lines change, and once a year review will be good (to me i m ok with small $$$). So far he "forcast" the change accurately. c) he even suggest some simple methods to compensate my weaknesses eg carrying a small book to remember things to do (i always forget, but not dementia). BTW, no fsm items to buy from him hor. d) You can also ask for your goals and he determine from the palm's view rather than your 8 characters. So it is good to have alternative view. It has been sometime since i post my experiences with geomancer. Now i wish to share experiences with my long-time Mr Dong noong Zhen geomancer. Dec 2009 - i wish to change job badly after staying for almost 10 years in the current company. Job is stable. Also New management comes in, old staffs like me get kicked aside. What the f***. So i call Dong Noong Zhen for a fengshui strategy - main purpose is to "enhanced" my luck in finding another job. Note that i am 40 year old man (not handsome or sexy), but not distasteful lar . hahahaha March 2010 - i called him to come my place and paid $800 singapore dollars. Remember this is NOT house audit, but focus on looking for job using fengshui method. Description of the strategy : he went to my study room (where it happens to have the most luck according to house audit) with pre-written tailsman "words". Take note it is words, not the yellow paper you see on movie. He put old coin in a small bowl with "pre-script tailsman words". Then with a stone (honestly i don't know what stone) he placed in a red bag. He then use a red light pen and chant some words which include drawing invisible words on the 2 objects. He placed both things on my table and teach me "how to chant" each morning. Chanting just open the bowl and hold the red bag (with stone inside) - and pray that "i will find a job soon". And bring the red bag with you during office hours and interviews. My questions to him then was : Q) got guranteed bor ? You know lah singaporeans wants guranteed results since i pay $800. a) No guaranteed. This only increase your luck. (how many % of luck i forgot to ask) Q) can setup different strategies for different purposeS ? Eg one for job, one for mistress, one for 4d, etc A) cannot lah. You can only do one thing at a time (so what i am willing to spend $, he did not offer other services) Of course i must send out resume lah (where got job find you without resume) March 2010 to June 2010 - got interviews here and there. Good news is next week i receive an offer to go to a oil/gas company (unless something happen along the way, 98% sure get job according to HR). btw I m currently in a NON-oil/gas company. And a reminder that i am 40 years old where people say "old pple don't want - which is untrue" So am i lucky or fengshui help me ? i don't have an answer, but sometimes when i m desperate, i will use fengshui as a last resort. When i get the offer next week, the next time is to ask Mr Dong Noong Zhen for "zhan pu" ..i think movie u watch, use old coin with turtle shell and interpret "how long will i stay in this new job" hehehehe BTW Mr Dong told me he don't offer this kind of special services unless customer knows him well and ask for this service. if u look at the threads "view", pple usually don't give comments until a old bird member starts to talk Since i look at the threads, i will answer: a) i have not used him service before. b) my brother has uses his fsm services, and my bro never complain anything. After all, my brother is the type that as long family ok, he does not care of "further" fengshui services.

Some fsm says "water location" is your "cai / wealth" location. Some fsm says "both should be separated, each is in its own locations" Who is right ?

threadstarter Before u jump the gun to buy stuffs, i would advise the followings : a) get your bazi read. It may be this year, u feeling lousy. Or perhaps your bazi says next 2 years, not recommended to get new job as each time u will continue to feel this way. b) get a geomancer to perform house fengshui first. don't save this money. Spend it and perhaps life would be better (although u may still dislike the job). I face the same problems as u, but i just go for interviews only (i know my bazi suggests become bizman after 2 years later), so i just have to stay put and accumulate whatever experiences and salary for future use.

I am a scientific person too, actually anyone in the forum is right ..BAT has nothing to do but just happen to fly by. But since it appear in outside my door for no apparent reason, and i've nothing to do, i ask the geomancers what is the signifiant of it. I ask Mr Chang - he told me it depends on where and which angle it rest. I ask Mr Tong - he say don't chase away as bat is a symbolic of luck, ask me go buy 4d. As i m not a gmbler, i decide to buy 1 system 7, cost me $3.50 . The next draw i won. It is not the amount i win, but i would have miss an small opportunity from different geomancer's view. Please note that i m not comparing Mr Tong vs Mr Chang, but i was given the right advice at the right point in time.

2 months ago, A bat flew and hang upside down outside my condo door. Morning disappear, at night come back, hang same spot. From classical fengshui, what is your interpretation ? From non-clasiscal fengshui (i used non-classical means buying cheap fengshui items -another school of thoughts ), what is your interpretation ? I did ask Mr Chang (classical) and Mr Tong (classical too but include non-classical as well) on this issue. I have already known the "myth results", but want to hear what the forum says.

I like the way u put it "mere mortals like Chang or Tong has the tools to solve our problems". :-) Note that no one can "predict" accrately. Chang or Tong or other reliable fsm only help to interpret as much as they can. Anything in heaven, only destiny or gods knows.

Some forum members do not encourage fengshui item as they believe in a "classical" fengshui. For me i believe both (although i have not use classical fengshui yet as a customer). But do NOT buy expensive items. But so far no problems for me and family. No health, money or career issue. It does not necessariy mean all that was practise by others means have to follows. Well at least a myth is broken here. However i doubt every fsm (including Mr Dong) are expert is "religious" stuffs.

hmm, maybe i will put a fengshui strategy to raise the "rent unknowingly" :-) Ok i understood the point of being harmonise with tenants - good gracious living benefits everyone. interesting, how do i determine plants that has more than 10 years lifespan ? I assume u are refering to "leafy" plants.
