I think the best is to get a few days allowance from ur buyer. Pay them some rent.Squeeze ur agent to pay for it. Come on, they took so much of our money...they should work for us. My personal experience... agent asked buyer to give us 1mth extension but buyer turned their words and wanted us to shift out.At first, I so silly...quickly find a rental place. Then after bring an agent... I learnt something... dun let them earn ur money so easily... I told the agent that I dun care...I got 2 kids and they want us to move out on NY eve? So after negotiating,buyer wanted 1.5k rental. So in the end, the 2 agent has to divide the money and let us stay 1 more mth. To them, it is just a $700 lesser form their commission and they are earning $8K from us. U get my meaning? Furthermore, you are not asking too much...just a few days...less than 1 week. Get ur agent to settle now. Be more agressive... haha..my agent teaching u how to squeeze them....

I am very very happy. I was so scared that one of my bag was misplaced...He went to the storage place at 7pm and take a pic and mms me to reassure me. The price is good... ok...my entire household...24ft truck..so u cna imagine loh... he provided me with all cartons. There was only me and maid packing...he see already... he called another 3 men even the boss himself..so total 6men to help me pack into carton boxes. Some of my cupboards and sofabed were so old that I said I paiseh to ask them wrap...they still wrap it up for me. And the price is good, including storage. A price that not convenient to reveal here...hehe He is nice as I told him I need a place to store as my temporary put up place is a small room in a backyard..so all my things were under rain and shine with a blue canvas to protect for 3 weeks. U know..when we opened some boxes..there were filled with worms..and the guys just proceed to clear the worms, sun it and pack. Thank god my books are fine. He saw my temporary put up place really bad so thats why he gives me a good price..sympathy loh.

Hi, After talking to so many contractors..seems like many are not very willing to reduce $ for my EM. So I have decided to DIY. Can all of you who have DIY renovation please help me with some contacts how to DIY? So far, my budget is only $35k and includes all these works. 1) Roofing- any suppliers? 2) Hacking of living room and kitchen flooring and kitchen cabinet 3) Window grilles whole house 4) Flooring for homo and laminate at level 2. 5) Staircase railings 6) Permit from HDB to hack off BIG wall on level 2 to make bedroom bigger.?? how to apply? 7) Carpentry work in kitchen and master bedroom 8) L-box and cove lights entire house. 9) Suppliers for sinks, lights, toilet bowl?? I am even thinking of going myself to hack off the existing cabinet but my husband said I crazy.... For electrical applicances, I have get from mega which has best price so far. Anyone know where can I get DIY suppliers?

HI, I am getting my keys this Thur and I have not confirmed my contractor. Reason being no contractor is willing to take our job at $35k. Eventually ME, I, MYSELF (SAHM) will go and DIY myself.... How much u spent on ur EM? Mine is at hougang......
