Yeah!!! it picture time.... Today marks the 15th day since the renovation process started. Unfortunately due to hubby's shift work and with a very active toddler, we were unable to keep track on the renovation process daily. So here are the pics as at 3rd day of renovation (9 Jul 2010). Messy living room.. The Aircon guys are here too..

She only supplied me the layout drawing for my kitchen cabinet, feature wall and the vanity top for my MBR toilet. I didn't ask for any 3d drawing cause scared skali kena extra costing

Hi everyone TGIF! Just an update of our renovation process. Hacking of kitchen, common toilet and MBR toilets tiles was done on 6 Jul. All Best came to install the air-con on 9 Jul, I must say..they did a pretty good job and guys that came were very friendly. NOVA came on the same day to install our chandelier. Skirting at MBR and two other rooms where also hacked. Yet to see the house since Tuesday..will update again soon. Pictures will follow up too hehe Have a great weekend ahead!

My contractor is at Toh Guan so I guess if we go to Soon Bee Huat is nearer mah...if there is any changes, easy for him also. hahaha..ya lor very true...pricing is a factor too.

You mean Soon Bee Huat? hehehe...We had our tiles selection there too. What a headache...I tink we spent almost 3 hrs there ....so many choices... Didn't see the sign of no phototaking though. Anyway we tried to lah..but the lighting there is not so good for phototaking leh...

We bought : 5I JW, 122 sqm, 2nd floor Val 385K, COV 23K (as at OTP) Val 390K, COV 18K (did a re-valuation b4 1st appointment) Renovation cost : 24K Why we bought it : a) the flat is between JW sports complex and Pioneer Mall. b) 5 mins walk to my Mum's house. c) 3 mins walk to our daughter's kindergarten. d) 2 primary schools at walking distance. e) 5 mins walk to Pioneer MRT station.

The tiles are scheduled to be laid on the 12th & 13th of July.

oh dear how come the air-con sales person never told us that. He just told us to book a date. No wonder when the air-con contractor called and said if the tiles are not up yet, they will not be able to install the air-con piping. haiz...the next appointment date available is only on 28th July. By then my MBR laminated flooring and most of the capentary works would have already been done. shuckz!

Does it mean I will need to have my MBR toilet walls and floor tiles laid up first before the piping for the aircon to be done?

Hello everyone, Been a silent reader all these while. Looking at some of your reno pics and progressing very well . I'm feeling excited and can't wait for our 2nd appt next Thurs. Agent smsed saying that the sellers will be moving out one day before the 2nd appt. Will be viewing the house then. Renovation quotations has been finalised and we decided to engage Bonaventure (86) Pte Ltd. Saw some units on their workmanship and hope that ours will be nicely done too. *keeping fingures crossed*
