  1. wow, good idea - don't forget to count me in - so nice to start "meeting" new neighbours when I have not even moved in
  2. wow, nice 3D - what software did you use? think about time for me to learn to use some of these for my design too! just curious - why do you place the small sink and big sink where they are now? I would prefer the large sink nearer the cooking area, and for service yard, a smaller sink - bc cooking area got big pots etc, while service yard mainly rinse/soak clothes?
  3. btw this RB 3GB is one big inner flame, one medium and one small flame is it? like the fujioh 793 configuration? Actually i am still quite confused with this inner flame thing. Is inner flame applicable onlyfor big fire? ie got such thing as small inner flame, say for simmering soup etc? one more question - for those of you who are familiar wiht rinnai - I saw the brochure - besides the made in japan RB 3CG, there are 2 other models RB-38V and RB-3SS (GB). How are they different? thanks so much!
  4. Hi dbkungfu what do you mean to save yr granite countertop? You mean use granite cannot have the rinnai RB 3CG?
  5. oh understand liao. thanks!
  6. hmm .. and how much is it? which model you referring to?
  7. decided to swap position for fridge and cooking area. new pix here. any comments on the practical/workability aspects?
  8. Sazeryn i am next to bowen! wah, you not my buyer hor?
  9. Hi Nguadi check w u - is the big fire of the inner flame really big? can really cut down cooking time compared wiht the "normal" big fire? like chi cha style is it?
  10. Hi Sazeryn which part of hougang are you at? I grew up in serangoon, moved to yishun after married (dun like, very far from everything, only near JB , first house at hougang, and now heading to sengkang. Of all, I love hougang the MOST! sure going to miss it here - so convenient! Fernvale must wait long long more - only thing near the kayu prata, will supper till get fat there! btw noticed some development opposite fernvale, along yio chu kang rd. Is there residential or shopping?
  11. the salesman was also telling me that for the inner fire hob, the holes at the base are big, so things drop easily and cannot be retrieved, so easier to get stuck Dunno how true is this? hmm ... don;t know if you call this unattended. sometimes will keep low fire, then leave pot there to cook for 1 or 2 hours?
  12. Hello to all who are using or planning to get the fujioh glass hob which was/is your pick? 773 or 793? I am having a hard time deciding between the two models. Price is the same. The only diff is 773 comes with safety valve, which I thought is important. 793 comes with inner flame, which is supposed to save gas since can cook faster? Also thinking about the position of the 3 burners. 773 has 3 burners all spaced out 793 has the big fire one at one side, while the medium and small fire at the other side.
  13. yup, yup. And buyer is trying to do joint request for early completion. Don't know will be successful or not? Can't wait to lay hands on my keys!
  14. Hi Yummy me at sengkang too! Totally understand what you must be going through now - me just a little step ahead of you because just decided on which contractor to award to.
  15. mine charges $280 per trip, 15feet truck, lift level. They said extra charge if no lift. Also I have an upright piano - $80 extra for that. For second location, another $30. They gave me 20 boxes, I asked for more, they gave again. Don't know got limit to that or not?
  16. Hi Ngunadi I like the lime green kitchen cabinets. My mum's place also same colour. And I am also thinking of using that colour for my new place - maybe not the laminates, but the glass splash back. Very refreshing! At the moment, deliberating over orange or lime green, cabinet likely to be some kind of cream colour
  17. wah, so jia lat. next time if i have the chance to buy/sell,die die also i must ensure everything go according to rule - no early, no late, must be exact on second appt. thanks for the advice on SP. Will call the buyer to do transfer.
  18. wow reuben I thought my house condition not very good, but this one is worse! Look forward to your overhaul!
  19. can the aircon ledge fit 2 compressors? or do you have to mount one on top of the other?
  20. wow, 24k is a good price! Looks like a lot of carpentry work, plus electric, plus door, plus flooring some more! I like your shoe cabinet and sette. Maybe I can ask my contractor to do something like that - suspended but with sette can push in pull out type. hope u don't mind me copy idea hor? Yours is Id or contractor?
  21. Hi ashomech welcome! wah, your layout is very interesting, and yr seller's decor is even more so! Very very bold finsihing. What's that pole thing in the kitchen?
  22. Hi 15may actually if you are not doing alot of drawers, it is not really that costly to do blum. Their hinges are only around $2 each. The drawers are more costly. For eg, a set of full extension tandem runner system (ie use only blum runners, but you get carpenter to fabricate the drawer) costs $45 (30kg) or $62 (50kg). multiply that by the number of drawers you want to have. So unless you are going to have all drawers, then price is not that much difference, imho.
  23. ya, usually they give 3 drawers, but I find 3 drawers exactly the same size not practical, though may be pleasing aesthetically. I would prefer to be sure what I want to use the drawers/cabinets for, then make to size to cater to the largest of that item, as far as space allows.
  24. Hi what is the usual procedure with regards to singapore power? Does the seller terminate the account, then buyer re-apply upon second appt? Or can a transfer be done? How many days does SP need to re-introduce supply to the flat?
