  1. ok thank you for your explanation. and wow, that is quite a hefty amount, but I am sure it will look super cool. let me go check your blog to find more. thanks!
  2. Wed, 14/7/2010 Today we went in search for water filter system. Have previously met a rep from Multi Pure, and today saw another 2 brands - Hyflux and EverPure. Price for the last two are about $100 different, but Multi Pure is the highest. All filter changing comes out to around $150 to $250 per year. Still not digested all the information, so will study them more in detail before deciding. another new area - alot of research needed.
  3. in that case, does it need to be turned on and off? I don't mean the individual plugs, but the whole eubiq itself. ok, this one I understand liao. this one also understand. So this is not something our electrician can do? need eubiq to do installation, is it? sorry very green - this is a totally new concept to me - but looks really neat and good for places that need so many power points!
  4. Hi Sam remembered you asking about the water filter system some time back? So did you finally get one? saw hyflux one selling around $500 plus - thinking thinking ..
  5. Hi Ossify thanks! So the eubiq is connected to the switch on the right? ie once switch on, you can 'attach" as many plugs as you like into the strip? Like those conventional extension wires with multi-pins? More questions - how is this mounted onto the wall? must this be done during electric installation works or can DIY later? and last, if to be used in the kitchen, can this be mounted on the glass backing? thank you! appreciate your input!
  6. hi must remind me to see yr eubiq syst also! thanks~
  7. wah, i still thinking if can work, can spray multi colour - like the baby fan with the apples on the blade (sorry dunno what brand)
  8. my understanding is if for 2 toilets then 25litre is enough. For us, since kitchen also use hot water, so decided to go for 35litre. thanks for sharing about the concealed wiring. short circuit already then how to rectify? I also thought of doing a wall hung dish drainer, but contractor warned that that place got concealed pipe. Although it's been marked out, cannot be 100% sure that the marking is accurate.
  9. Hi Gals mama thanks for the lead. will keep CCM in mind if I need one. btw does it mean if using eubiq, then no need normal power points in that area? Or this eubiq still need to be powered? This must be done during reno or can later on then "attach"? Went into the eubiq website but still cannot fully understand. the amasco - is it the 3 blade model? I think that's 50"? btw yes would love to test out the kdk. Please let me know when it's convenient. thanks!
  10. ya, thought I read before but cannot find again. Anyway, have decided not to get from them since unsure. Not worth to save a bit but later lots of problems
  11. hey June would love to meet more neighbours! Can pm me your unit number and timing you will be there?
  12. ha ha , we are also holidaying in a "chalet" now! Actually I told my hubby that it may not be as bad - we came from a EA, to go straight into 4 room, we may feel a sudden reduction of space. But if we stay in a room for 2 or 3 months, maybe we will appreciate the increase in space! who is yr mover? Helping hands? Can ask what is their charges like? We have source for another mover for the next move - quite alot of stuff in the warehouse to bring over. So did you throw away alot of stuff?
  13. hi bearlyn saw yr signature that you ordered a joven heater? Was asking around for a 35liter, and I understand that there are 2 types - energy saving and normal one, is it? Some shops have, but some say the energy saving version not approved by sisir yet?? (but how come still can sell?)
  14. wah, how come got 2 door bells?
  15. 15may! I also want to see yr nice nice house!
  16. wow cannot be cold right? The few times i go over feel so hot. Only the occasional breeze leh. But met my neighbour - she said she no need install aircn in hall bc very windy wow? Maybe wind stop at her unit lah!
  17. sure or not? will affect balancing?
  18. is v6 the vibrant colour one? red/yellow/black? that one very big leh - can fit our hall?
  19. Hi june good thing that the aircon has been installed anyway, despite all the hiccup along the way. Luckily you discovered the discrepancy in pipe size before everything else goes up. Which stage of reno at you at now? Saw fr your signature that many items have been delivered already.
  20. ya, still planning to get the sunflower for the hall, now checking around for best price. for the rooms, we actually wanted KDK, but so many salesman try to sway us to amasco, now we also thinking that direction liao
  21. haha, that's what I want to find out too. Like kitchen appliances, I find the salesman all very enthusiastic about Brandt, and will try to talk you out from other brands
  22. you are lucky! I was too tempted by the "best price" and "today last day" gimmick, and totally fell for it. blame it on being kiasu lor. Never mind lah, that was my first purchase for the house, after that got smarter liao - do homework in RT first before commiting anything. Since that incident, I realised that many shops will say "today is last day of promo" line - how naive I had been
  23. ok, then i better prep myself - that's quite a long time to stay on! btw, check with you all. Is it common practice to buy lunch and drinks for the workers? Do you practice that?
  24. actually hommage got alot of things. The other day i went down, Eric gave me so many magazines to flip through unitl i blur blur
