Hi All, Due to the design of my window, I can only mount the curtain rod bracket on the ceiling. I purchase a hook bracket but still need one part to be bended to fit nicely. it's 2 -3mm thick will normal pilers/wrench can't do the job unless I'm incredible Hulk. Anyone know where do they provide such service? Thank you.

If you are buying a DVD player, dun need to crack your brain, most DVD players in the market are ok as long as you buy established brands from Japan or Korea. Dun bother HDMI outputs unless you are a cable freak who like neat cables. The image quality from HDMI or Component makes no difference for DVD format as DVD resolution is standard TV resolution. As for Blu-ray player, it's explained by neubie. But adding to that, tf you have a HDTV, especially those that boast Full HD in 1080p resolution. It will be a waste without a Blu-Ray player or a game console like PS3 or Xbox360.......(like having an iphone without 3G internet) Even the HD channel 5 from mediocorp is no match for the crystal clear content of a blu-ray disc.

looking for a 3.1 sound system for my living to match my 42" TV and PS3/DVD players. due to budget constraints and reno limitations, I decided to ditch 5.1 systems as I don't want to lay the wires around the living room. But looking around, notice alot of HTib is mostly 5.1 or 7.1. I don't like soundbars... my budget is 500 and below, prefer to have just an amp, 2 speakers, 1 center speaker and a subwoofer. possible to get those off-the-rack HTib type or must I miss and match? any suggestions? Thanks.

My parent's 707 heater had this same issue after 1 year. Intermittent problem. Becareful, cos you power may trip. Temporary do not on the heater. Call for servicing ASAP. For our case, the serviceguy replace a faulty valve and problem is fix, 2 years liao the heater is still ok. good luck.

For gloss, I feel the color is more vibrant with blacker blacks, but I don't like the reflection on screen....very distracting. Especially if screen displaying dark scene, you'll only see your own face. Unless you're the type which will close the curtain everytime you watch TV, I'd choose matt for practicality. same for computer monitors.
