We are also getting a platform bed for our new house as my gf really like it.. But for me, I really feel its not very good for the knees and especially so for a pregnant woman.. You can try sitting down and getting up the bed many times and u will feel the strain as it really need more energry get in/out of the bed.. that was my primary concern but i cant convince her.. so..

the date can still be change if both party agree.. maybe u can talk with the seller to agree on the 2nd appointment date which i feel is the more important date (fastest is 6 week from 1st appt).. but its still up to u la.. maybe the wife really do have difficulty in attending the 1st appt?

den i think u take it out and use perm marker to draw the line better.. cos the perm marker can be easily remove by thinner..
