Hi All, Im done with the reno. Frankly with accessories, ive spent 13k in all. It can be lower if i dont spent a bomb on those accessories..
-
really, thats quiet alot of height to raise. im discussing the reno with the contractors. i hope all is going to be well. will start the ball rolling next week! bless me!!
-
ping pong cover? ok ill try ask the contractors..thanks!
-
it looks like ive to raise quite a height for this. hmmm
-
i wonder where the water goes to since the tiler fitted another floor trap for you. so i will have to depend on your pics, okie!! thanks so much, wolflet!
-
my common toilet only have one drainage. and that's in between the WC and the basin. is there a way to fix it so my shower area is not flooded? shower area is next to WC. TIA!
-
gosh, ok ill try to calculate this number of tiles and gauge the costs. ya lah.. they doing business too.. but better to be reasonable than exorbitant..
-
i had a friend working in an ID firm and she mentioned that her boss normally quote more than 50% of the job. this to say things and labour are cheap in singapore? im abit sceptic on that as we normally import things, right? i still would prefer tiling (long term) but weighing pros/cons on to overlay or to hack. Or even do that sediment flooring or new coat flooring..
-
wow thanks Jaskel .. yeah that buffer allotment is a must have!! gimz63251073, you're right. im weighing all of the options now.. thanks!
-
Wow.. pretty nice flooring there.. sediment flooring looks like the other moneysaver choice. but whats the diff between sediment and the coating (new coat)?

5 yrs? gone liao. been in that home for 11 yrs.. if i had known got warranty, should have complaint!!! sigh. 15k is like i can do both toilets plus kitchen reno rite?
-
reason chosing hacking. 1) chemical at floor tiles starts to 'bubble' up. my dad got to use the scraper to unscrap it . 2) the skirting (very low kerb) between kitchen and dining slanted. nong, nong ago when my parents do up the place, the never check. so its really an eyesore. im not sure if overlay the toilet floor is a good guarantee, tho'? toilet floor was originally fitted by HDB now all black. no matter how we scrub, it still looked stained dirty.
-
yup. that basic accessories. im also hoping i can 'save' the toilet bowl when contractors do the toilet flooring. btw, can we hack the kerb that separates the service yard and the kitchen?
-
no high end stuffs ar. plan to hack the service yard + kitchen floor + bathroom floor. i think the cabinet is about that long. or shorter.. because i plan to have tall cabinet at one end. since im talking hacking and all.. somehow it seems my 10k not enough?
