Day 6 [Master and Common bathroom wall tiling partially done] Cont.. Not too sure of the quality of tiling here.. Noticed that there are some inconsistencies of the gap between the tiles. See the tiling done at the top left corner of the ventilation window, the gap/grout is thicker compared to the rest of the tilings done around the window. Notice the huge gap between the tiles and the pipes, will it be sealed properly? The tiles being cut to accommodate the pipes. But the joint line look so obvious!!

Day 2 Tiles arrive The mosaic for our master bedroom bathroom Day 3 [Hacking] Kitchen Common Bath Master bedroom Master bedroom bathroom Day 4 Not much done.. Only see the Master bedroom's bathroom entrance sealed. Still waiting for: - Kitchen wall to be hacked - Narrowing of both toilet doors (ID said that both toilet doors are bigger than normal, and will size them down to normal size) - Waterproofing and laying of tiles (kitchen and 2 toilets) Hope to see more tomorrow!

Hi samgalz No lah. I already have a microwave/convection oven. I can also do my baking there. Just that do more rounds only.. Since I don't cook that much, buying one will not be really worthwhile..

Umm.. According to my husband... Yes, free delivery.. also free HDMI cable

Hi Froggy, Thanks! As for the kitchen, yup tat's a built-in oven. But we won't have that now since the seller took the built-in oven with them when they left. Those 2 cabinets by the side were just designs by my ID. I think can put sauces, baking sheets etc?? Anyway, the kitchen design has not been firmed up yet, since the ID said that have to go on-site to measure and design again.. I'm still thinking of how to best utilise the spaces for maximum convenience..

ngunadi Yah, the width of the living room partition is in proportion to the door. As we only open the "big" door and not the "small" door.. therefore only align to the "big" door's size... So in that sense, means open door cannot see window lor? right? bepgof No KP la.. it's interesting to read the posts. anyway, to answer your questions: - Kitchen: no door. just entryway. Coz' don't want to obstruct my dog's access to their pee and poo area - Half-ht glass between dining table and kitchen: YAH you are right!! How are you able to tell? We wanted this to create a somewhat brighter feel as kitchen not much light also.. - Balcony going to become part of living room (where the piano is). going to have a water feature at right side of the "balcony". No planters.

Let me share my floorplan as well.. Can see that Master Chang also asked me to build 2 dividers of opaque, all the way to the ceiling type.. 1 separating the foyer and the living room, and the other in my girl's room (nearer to the living room).. He has instructed that the bed (or rather, the pillows) should be placed in the respective positions shown in the floor plan.. as such.. makes sense to have a divider "blocking" the bed's view from the bedroom door.. eh.. Ignore the 2 blocks (with dots within) that is situated next to the sofa, supposed to be ottomans.. but have vetoed this idea any comments?
-
Hi htng, I noticed that you have a divider in one of your bedrooms.. that's what Master Chang advises us to do. It needs to be non-reflective and cover all the way to the ceiling as well. Can check with you if the occupants in the room experience any stuffiness since the room is already small, and with a divider? How's the air flow? thanks.

Hi thirdrockdweller, Is that a Mirror Cabinet in your MBR bathroom? With lighting below the cabinet? Can you share where you got it from? Looks very nice! Thanks.
