Hi, Please PM me on your price list for ceiling fans and track lights. I am looking for track lights with adjustable color temperatures (e.g. from warm white to daylight) and wide beam angles. Thanks.

Thanks everyone!! I seldom check in and what a pleasant surprise to see replies to my thread! Ok to answer your questions: sng28 - I go home check for you ok. Need to dig my file. joyousonline - 1) the glass panel at the hob area, as I don't cook often, so far so good. I think clean only 1 month once. but I would imagine for someone who cooked pretty often will need to clean the glass regularly. The glass panel near the hob is fixed, cannot slide. 2) Common toilet. the vanity is from IKEA. from the mirror, basin until the cabinet below the basin are all from IKEA. the backing is wooden though. so far, I don't see anything rotting or "mushrooms" growing. LILLÅNGEN series. Ely1 - Thank you! We had a hard time looking for something that is pocket-friendly and both of us liked as well.

Hi Marshmallow, Wow! You are fast! Thanks for the advice! I will see whether i can get some baking pans or something. Don't you think it's stupid to give the name Crispy Pan where the Pan is not making it crispy. Do you think it will work better if we forgo the Crispy Pan altogether and put the wire rack at the bottom?

Hi, I just bought a Panasonic NN-GS597M Microwave Oven with Steam. As the microwave also have baking and grilling functions, I have been trying out bake/grill the following 1) Chocolate Muffins - Used Oven mode at 160 degrees (with preheat). Placed silicone cups on Crispy Pan, result quite ok. Cannot see brown or not since it is chocolate. 2) Frozen Pizza - Used Oven mode at 220 degrees (with preheat). Placed frozen pizza on Crispy Pan lined with aluminium foil. Top is not very brown, but is burnt on the edges of the ham and pineapple, bottom is cooked but not brown. 3) Ham and Cheese sandwich - Used Oven mode at 180 degrees (no preheat). Placed sandwich on wire tray and placed on top of crispy tray. Only top is toasted (but not very brown) and bottom is slightly toasted. Overall, it seems that I am not able to achieve the golden brown toasted look when using the Oven mode. I have not yet tried the Grill mode which is only 1 heat source at the top. Any pointers? Thanks!!

Hi All, My hubby accidentally threw away both my high and low baking racks that came along with my Sharp microwave convection oven. Looks something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=380271481945 Anyone knows where I am able to get cheaper replacements? I have already checked with SHARP directly and they are quoting me $25.68 per rack!! Thanks!

Dear all, Just got burned by the Hot part of the mixer while bathing my kid. Realised that this is going to be potential safety issue with all the exposed hot water pipes as well.. How do you guys (and gals!!) deal with this issue aside from doing a box up for the pipes? and the mixer? Any solutions? thanks!

Hi leechaorui, Thanks for the encouragement! So far most of the things are done. still pending the customised dog pee grill.. and some items needed touch ups.. some other touch ups if we can do ourselves, we will probably do as we really don't have the time and energy to follow up and chase. and we found out that our floor tiles have been stained by the corrugated boards the workers since the beginning of the reno! Very sian, see patches of grey here and there around the living room.. Have called my ID to fix the problem, he gave us some Amway product and my hubby was rubbing furiously for 4 hours yesterday and managed to get about 70% off.. on time - 1 wk late on budget - dunno yet on quality - muz give and take lor I will be moving house on this thursday and officially moving in on saturday. still packing and moving other items that need us to move ourselves. will be posting the pictures after moving in and also my verdict of my ID and his works.

Some updates.. Supposed to be handover last weekend (28, 29 August). But still have quite a bit of things not done. 1) Cleaning up of walls in Kitchen. After tearing down the existing cabinets, there are still some silicon, adhesives, wooden planks stuck onto the wall. 2) Some areas requiring 2nd coat of paint as insufficient to cover marks, wiring boxes etc. 3) Toilet cabinets not up 4) Glass cabinets not finished 5) Parquet requiring cleaning as after varnishing, now again kenah some paint splatters. Wondering if removal of paint will remove varnish in the same process? 6) Varnishing and Making good of wooden archways 7) Permit from HDB to change louvre windows to top hung windows not ready as ID's window contractor need to follow up with re-submission 8) Dog Pee Grills are not done yet (nowhere insight) 9) Rewiring of some electrical points 10) Some remaining paint cleanups due to painting overshot certain areas 11) Re-sealing of some areas as the silicon or sealant has cracked 12) Checking of floor tile grout, able to dig up black stuff from the grout. Not sealed? 13) Filling up holes in ceiling and repainting ceiling 14) Varnishing of light box thingy at Foyer and Study 15) Repainting of Window wall ledge 16) Sealing up all holes and gaps This is just off the top of my head.. Dunno how much more.. And they need to be done by tomorrow!! Otherwise we cannot receive all our deliveries on saturday!! Enter PANIC mode.

Beware! Check Your Paint
ryooki replied to kkyysky's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
How do we know that we are being given the correct paint? I mean nowadays, they are able to custom-mix the paint color you choose hence even if you choose a paint color that is only available for the 3-in-1, Medifresh etc, you also wouldn't know. My ID used custom-mixed lower grade paint for my 1st coat, 2nd coat he claimed that he will use Easywash (which is what I requested). I have no idea whether I will be given that for sure or not, especially when I see the Easywash paint cans are so tiny, how can it possibly cover the walls? Unless it's super diluted with the lower grade paint.. -
Dear all, We have just got our walls painted with Nippon Paint EasyWash and found that once we use a damp cloth to clean away the dirt on the wall, it will leave behind a slightly darker imprint "wiped off" mark on the wall. Is this typical of EasyWash? Or am I being conned into believing my paint is EasyWash? Thanks.
