Dun read too much into it lah, esp since u all didn't went for a FS audit.. Mine was kinda "forced" by my parents.. But, juz to share (not to scare anyone!). After we completed the reno and went to the FSM for a date to "xie tu", the 1st sentence he told us was "I beleive yr reno went very smoothly rite?"

No specific timing if u guys not gg for FS audit of your house. Best is when there's daylight thou.. Then for salt throwing, tat time my FSM told us to scatter against the inner boundaries of the whole house, i.e. along the walls.. But, to note tat my salt throwing was down on the day of "opening of the house". But, think it is not a prob to do it on the same day as dong tu.. If I didn't recalled wrongly, actually we throw some other things other than juz salt.. If u need, then I need to go dig up the paper for the procedures le.. For dong tu, we only used a hammer to knock on the floor tiles only..

I will post my FSM "advice" tonite..

I juz want his pic, in case (TOUCH WOOD) I need to go up and bang his door! We shd organise a get-together someday and intro ourselves! The 12 days was implemented by our FSM.. Was thinking better to believe than not, since already see FS le..

Haha.. Sure thing... I haven't spoke to the salesman yet, coz I can be very nasty if need be.. I may look meek, but I wun be meek if I am angered!

Marsbars, if u and darkfear are not pang tang, u guys can juz do a simple procedure. FYI, my "xie tu" procedure involved us not able to let jaskel do work for min 12 days after the procedure is done..

No worries, u shd be glad to know that u have a fellow Simei resident that is fighting this battle too! It is an uphill task, but something muz be done, if not these ppl will think nothing can be done to them! It is time consuming, definitely. I can vouch to that, especially since I have been receiving from not only one institute.. But, now with the "help" from Hong Leong Finance, I know where I can "direct" the institutes to! Too bad, for my case, dun think they will flee from S'pore.. But I will hunt the father bugger down till he is prosecuted for not changing his bloody address!

Thanx darkfear and wifey! His name is Lynyrd Lim Wai Leong (aka Lynyrd Lin Weiliang). I remb finding him in facebook before. Would anyone believe it if ICA officer contact this guy and his sister and they say they dunno their father's whereabouts? I sure have serious doubts lorz..

I like wat u did! Search for him in facebook! I forgot to take down the pics of the son bugger of the ex-owner, whom was the only one which I could find on facebook, coz of his "unique" christian name! Darkfear, could I PM u the person's name and u help me find his profile on facebook? Coz I can't access from office...

Ya, I think the joint letter to MP sounds good.. Think will make them move faster.. Thou the ICA officer, no use one.. Hmmm... Maybe shd let the MP know that the ICA officer say they "no use one"...

One thing I can "re-assure" u.. ICA will not give u the address.. In my case, "kind" Hong Leong Finance "gave" me the son bugger's new address... So, too bad for the son bugger.. Also, the ICA officer in charge of my case already told me clearly tat ICA wun be the one charging the person, it is all up to our dear SPF whether they wanna prosecute the person!

I muz say, u have more patience than me to type such a civilised and lengthy e-mail. I got frustrated at them le.. Think I may have to employ yr method to deal with the officer in charge of my case..

Not exactly lah... His company is in charge of the building of one of the places where the youths are staying at.. So gotta work 12 hours shift!

Dun say le... Stupid me, insisted on paying in full... Now full of regrets... Hubby went down and warned the salesman if we dun see the rest of the furniture on this Sun, they will be in trouble.. Will check carefully and make noise if I detect any probs!

Yah, long weekend.. But if hubby not able to change his shift for the stupid YOG, then will be left me cleaning by myself! The things we ordered, still left shoe cabinet and coffee table from Novena.. Supposed to come last Sat but we waited at home till 6pm and no signs of it! No phone calls also! Hubby called up and screwed the staff then they pushed to Tues.. Last min called up and tell us, can't send! Then they pushed to Fri.. The manager tried to pacify hubby with a FOC stool after his call on Sat. Today they called hubby and tell him can only send on this Sun! Later we are gg down to give the manager a good piece of mind le! One stool not enough to compensate lorz! DON'T buy from Novena! Or if wanna buy, buy the furniture that are by 3rd party manufactures... Later muz show them my most angry face le!

If u guys gg, call me along... I sure have lots to complain abt the "efficiency"!

Maybe we can gather and go to "Meet-the-MP" session and bang table! My case dragged for 2, 3 months le.. So very pissed at the "efficiency" rate of finding the bugger...

Wah! They splashed paint on yr door? WTF?! Erhm, regarding tat extract, according to the ICA officer in charge of my case, he told me it is not up to them to charge the person for not changing his address... It is up to our dear SPF...

Nope, ICA didn't provide me with the address.. One of the financial institutions that the father bugger owes money to, with the son bugger as guarantor, sent a letter to my address asking old father bugger to pay up, with son's new address. So I "kindly" passed on the info to the financial institutions, even those looking for the father... ICA managed to get the son and daughter to change their address but can't locate father.
