won't that be too glaring? Now thinking about it, I like the light to be angled away from the backsplash to reduce glare. Then again if granite is used on the counter top, there will be a reflection also.

hannor, I drew a kopitiam round table ah. . We going to vanish it black to upgrade the kopitiam level. Round can sit more pple just squeeze in can liao. rectangle not nice to be the one sitting at the edge side. But somehow we feel talking in round tables more comfy lah. Ceiling light is in the center, the light shining to the counter top some parts are blocked, then the light is yellow white. Add 3 factors together when cooking at nite you will have to guess the food color abit bit. If you have lights on the cabinet top should not have this problem lah.

Oui Oui, the gap is for the corridor to the bed rooms, very cramp hor. We have not bought the dining table, but my CFO say ONLY round dining tables. He likes marble top tables. That is y i say uncle loh. CFO say tall cabinets needed to store things ah, cos room so small so need to use dining/living room space. He say do as a flow can liao.

This is what my cfo have in mind till i drew it out for him to see how cramp it is going to be. The dining area takes up 2.4m and the sofa (down payment liao)is 2.5m long, between them there is a corridor to the room of 1.2m wide. Yup, option 2, as we dun like feature walls. We prefer to have the tv resting on the console so that we can use the money to build other things. . I dunno if you change ur tv next time will there be a hole or not. BTW wall hung cabinets cannot put heavy stuff ah, so if u intending to put some heavier stuff best to have bigger storage on the low height drawers.

If yes, it may be very moist and easily dirty with all the fumes etc without a hood. I like option 3, as the long cabinets will block the sun light so the tv will not have sun light glare. Also, the place will look bigger as the left feels more empty, if you know what i mean.

I like A better though, Better natural lightings, more storage space and not so cramped feeling. Some pple say wiw not good wind water too.

At least these type can slowly upgrade rite, move in and then see if u need loh. Can still change your bulbs? Have cove lighting instead, can use daylight white light for usual and cove lighting for that special mood. Like tat no need to find lamps or scared not bright enough.
