My contractor thinks I am colorzilla with all the rooms and ceilings of different themes and colors, luckily overall effect came out okie, as we selected the colors via dulux color book only. Anyway he is very happy with the results and keep praising himself for the color effects. . Anyway, I will not use dark colors if my ceiling is not that high too.

Time Tick tok de passed fast fast. We are moving over to my new place this coming saturday, 24 July. Many things still not done, but my rental is also up. On a good note, walls are all painted, granites are installed and lights are up. My fridge and washing machine is sitting nicely in my kitchen and yard. This weekend is burned with cleaning up the rooms and packing up for the move. The next few days will be burned with more cleaning, packing and moving stuff over and more unpacking too. Pink : We gave a quota of x number of tables to each parents. Anyway we had a late fetch bride, and a church wedding on day 1 and we spend the next day preparing for the banquet. We are able to check and make sure everything was ok before the dinner started. Heck all hiccups and have fun. Oh yeah, if possible see if u can ask ur hotel to allow u to use the wedding suite 2days or not or at least use them another day. Good good! At least you can start planing and move in before 7th month!!! Oh the wipes comes in OEM version which is not too bad but need to use 2 sheets in stead of 1 to achieve the same dust wipe, but **** cheap. They have the wet oem version which works pretty okie to take surface dusting. If your place is very dusty, You can use the wet oem version to clean the walls and dry for cupboards to clean up as much dust as possible. Then use the original magic clean wipes to do the final cleaning.

Met up with Mr Chew today. Initially we had selected all rooms with day and nite curtains and he had quoted up a whooping amount of $2900!!! After removing all day curtains except for the mbr, It went down to about $2100. Now I am contemplating about all the selections. I am pretty happy with my selections except for one of the bedroom which i may want to reselect. As i really need the curtains to sleep in the room, Mr Chew has agreed to help me to get the mbr toilet roller blinds and mbr nite curtains ready by 23 July so that I can provide some privacy when I move in. Sammy if i stick to the original, it is really 3x your curtains price! Mr Chew had said my mbr curtains can almost cover your whole house windows. Next week all the lights will be up and cleaning of rooms can start. We will haunt the developer to complete the defect repairs. We are moving in on 24 July morning.

It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to make. I think ikea comes in certain size and design, which if you have a window which does not fit into the standard ikea size may end up more expensive. Usually the curtain will match ur paintings, furniture and lightings. You can get the curtain makers to go in and advise. But you can always look at mags on colors and design. If in doubt, choose safe and single color for 1 stretch of window, and follow the same color family as the walls around the curtains. Another choice will be lines or stripes, but of the same color or similar color. Thus the curtains will be timeless.

I calculated I have 17meters+ which needs curtain windo dressing with curved rail. We are looking for more heavy duty rail .. Day and night curtains so I would need like 34meters liao. Plus 3meters of roller blinds and 1 meter of roman blind. I wonder <$2000 possible or not.

I also agree loh. Normal tv the color and clearity is very good, I no need the sharpness till to see the actress small teeny weeny pimple. I dun really watch tv. Our 42" plasma or lcd panasonic tv about 2 yrs plus years old. Told hubby, use till spoil den buy new.
