  2. Use ur neighbours' internet access!!! Same here moved in without tv console or tv to watch and many things still feels like not there yet.. Thank God for iphones and tethering, we have internet access.
  3. Start taking pics first den check on the works.. document everything down via pictures..
  4. Wah, how many cushions ah.. can tell? Mr Chew said before, you whole house curtains is like abit more than my mbr curtains requirements. He spent like 3+ hours drilling and doing up the tracks and roller blinds and about 15mins putting up 2 rooms curtains. I think he over shot and had to rush to the next site. He say he will come again for the rest to confirm the curtains again. Mrs Chew got go with him? Both of them very cute. Just take a pic of ur curtains loh. Won't see mess will see curtains only.

I love the rain dance! Showering is very shiok ah! The mist feature really heavenly. Can make u wanna stay longer in the bathroom 1.
  6. The big move in was super tiring! Hubby and I had taken leave on friday to do some packing and unpacking, waiting then watching the setups of the furnitures.. Saturday spent the whole day unpacking. At the end of the day, I had a bad headache that requires 2 panadol pills to settle down . But at least we are now at the new place trying to settle down. Many things are still in the boxes. Mr Chew and Mrs Chew came on Saturday to help me to fix up the curtains to provide some privacy. Both of them are very cute! Mr Chew keep referring Mrs Chew as That Auntie. I had to install bamboo blinds for my yard which has a ac ledge infront of it. Mr Chew had put the ladder on the ac ledge and climbed over the yard then step on the ladder and drilled holes for the bamboo blinds! Super agile for his age!! The arrival of the Furnitures Yeah!!!! Teak Dining set from Pagoda Teak. Old style design in modern black. Living room sofa from Casa Italy. Teak King Size bed, again in Black. My chrome rack to extend my kitchen. Hubby and I agreed that this is a good buy for $68. We found this stacker thing at ikea. We did not know how useful it was for my kitchen but after fixing and using. It is a very good buy.
  7. No good lah you learn from neo. No cliff hanger pls.. Did Mr Chew go to your place today?
  8. We are going to get a dresser from them, need to see which is more cost effective. To get from furniture shops like hommage or having a better wood from them.
  9. I got my dining table, kopi table and bed from them too. But we din see this type of divider. Maybe it is time to give them a visit again.
  10. Good news then! Must take pics on the lights. Hm.. instead of selling away, go back to A lighting to trade in for something maybe like floor standing fans. At least you will use it when the weather get very warm. Cheaper than on-ing the air con.
  11. What is the damage of your divider from pagoda teak?
  12. Hope all the light on is bright enough for your hubby. Then u can save on lightings and have all ur pretty pretty lights up.
  13. I have checked mine liao, it functioned this way. 1 set but ic controlled. 3 modes. warm white, cool white and both. Just give a try to on 3 and off 2 times. I dunno about the 3 pcs one though.
  14. We are talking about the round crystal lights we bought right? First time on warm white (11 led lights on only), 2nd time on cool white (11 led lights on only), 3rd time on both warm and cool white both on (22 led lights on).
  15. where did you get them from and how much.
  16. Hugz! The round crystal led light very bright if u on the warm and white light together. Maybe it was hung too low so the angle that it shines not far enough. Mine is like 40+ cm from the ceiling and i have high ceiling.
  17. Actually, I found ur hubby's remarks very interesting. All cinemas are dark when movies are showing. . Anyway no need really bright light for tv watching as it will be too glaring and hurt your eyes too, unless your hubby wanna read a book in the living room. How about the 3 pc in the door way, the round led on the dining and just gat a normal white light for living. This will be cheaper and use all the beautiful lights you have. Please try not to get halogen lights, they make the room warm and short life span. Not worth. LED lights are focused light source, so the area it suppose to be focused on will be bright. Cool white has higher luminance than warm white though. Sat also a biz day for us. We are moving in this sat!
  18. I got this mental picture of sammy with a whip. *wack wack wack*
  19. Jia you! get them to finish room by room. As soon as they finish 1 room you clean the room and move the things into this room. As long they finish all the carpentry on thursday afternoon, you have the evening to clean the last rooms. Friday can still be unpacking and deliveries and move in and more unpacking on SAT. Think Positively and things will fall in place.
  20. I the doors! They look so country like! Good job esp at the cost. Good thing you outsource too. your ID for the carpentry. Duh.. Like tat also ca mix up.
  21. The 5 level one is a small rack for putting small stuff. Cannot put much heavy weight on them. It is still in its box, we will not set up till later this week.
  22. The first thing comes to mind is tetris! I was so hooked to the game for awhile though. . NICE!
  23. Yes yes! They do sell alot more different sizes and heights, about 100 bux cheaper with delivery and installation if u buy 300 or more. I had bought the black exopy ones and cash and carry for more discounts. . The racks pic are in my blog.
  24. For those who wanna buy racks, can get from jinyu at geylang road near Lor42. We bought these 120x45x180 4 levels black epoxy coated racks for 166 each. We also bought another chrome 60x30x120 5 levels rack for 68. As we cash and carry, the boss gave us about 40bux discount and gave us 2 45x30 baking cooling racks. We have set up the black epoxy racks ourselves. Pretty easy, to put up though. We have not put up the chrome ones. Notice the carpet on the right.
