Jaskel, I have the same LED light strips i think in warm white color spare. I am thinking of doing something similar to the tv console lightings with our extra strips. There is no copi right yet hor? My house is using compressed marble flooring, we just do normal waxing, no epoxy polish as it comes with waxing, we just accept what was given. I dunno about the marble flooring going mouldy, but they are siuppose to last right? Anyway i use this for my flooring. Froggy and Gal_mama: I use AJAX fabuloso for the rest of the flooring including my toliet and kitchen floors too. Pure laziness. Wah, your curtains are really expensive. My curtains for my many many windows (close to 50ft by 8ft), living room (12ft by 10ft), 3 panel roller blinds (about 10ft by 10ft?) and bamboo blinds (4ft x 8ft) cost me less than 2500 from Mr Chew.

The flooring is as shiny as the wax last. So to make the wax lasting, use that type of floor wash. It is cheaper to mop often with that than to re wax the floor. . For laminate, Magic cleaning will be best, but I still feel need to use very well wrung mop to mop to feel it is clean, we just use fabulso all flooring type to clean, dunno it is good or not. I magic clean 2x weekly hubby mops 1ce a week That is the beauty of marble flooring, natural aircon. My hubby likes to sit down on the floor in the afternoons to read his newspaper. He say very shiok feeling..

The toilet looking so much neater and aligned too. At one glance i did not notice the pipe till i take a 2nd glance. I always find the corner washbasin such a useful tool to make the space bigger and helps in space management design. . Are you going to put any metal or glass shelfing for toliet?

I also love marble, they make the floor look so atas! Oh oh oh.. must buy those floor cleaning detergent specially for marble floor with waxing shine. Mop liao shiny shiny! My painter is my contractor's father, also 70+ liao. I was joking with him that he is more flexible than my hubby.

Cleaning part can outsource. I got a cleaning lady to clean most of dirt and stuff. unpacking is must easier after that cleaning.

If you have not changed the utlities bills under your name then change it only when u start ur actual reno paint works. The defect rectification list is never ending. Something will pops up after the first list. Usually they will do part of it only, and you need to keep hounding them to complete way before the scheduled date so that there is time to chase after for rectification. Meanwhile, go use the pool and gym on week ends or when ever possible. Also you can also clean up one room to use temp and enjoy the aircon and such.

Love the outdoor bathtub! Super nice to soak under the big blue sky, sipping wine and reading a book. But Singapore's weather is pretty freaky with rains and strong winds recently. Maybe having some bamboo blinds with pvc backing at the back of the treillis to allow enjoyment in bad weather. On good days the blinds can be pulled up for maximum view and enjoyment. Of course it will help to prevent the nosy neighbour peeping.
