  1. We are doing very minimal renovations because this house was newly renovated abt 2 years ago. It was also 1 of the reason why we bought it and paid high cov for it.. but the state of the house now is giving us alot of headache now. To hack and relaid the flooring will def stretch our budget. Juz very upset at the condition of the house now.. very irresponsible the previous owner!!!
  2. Hihi, I've recently bought a resale flat from a malay family and when we got our keys, it was in such a bad condition! Nothing like how the house seems when we went for viewing!!! I suspect that the last time they clean their house was early this year and till now they have NEVER clean their house! The house is SOOOOOOO oily and greasy plus super dusty! All the heavy duty intensive cooking resulted in sticky greasy stains in my entire kitchen! My entire kitchen now has this musky, mouldy smell. How do i get rid of this smell in my kitchen? we've already cleaned all the grease and dirt but this stale smell lingers in the kitchen. I've already tried moth balls, air freshener, baking soda, vingear etc... but cant seems to get rid of this smell. Anyone knows how to 'freshen' up the smell of my kitchen. Also, i found alot of ants in the kitchen despite having an empty house! We have already got rid of cockroaches in the house (we used up 2 cans of baygon!!) but we keep finding ants in the house. Which brand of ant killer do most of u use? Kindly recommend an effective ant killer.. Lastly, my horror story... my mbr parquet floor is stained with urine!!!!!! It was NOT like that when we view the house!!! we suspect that their cats pee on the parquet floor and now my house has a horrible urine smell! i've tried using baking soda + vinegar but the horrible urine smell still lingers in the house. Also bought some cat urine stain & smell remover from pet shop but unfortunately NOTHING works! Is there any way to get rid of this urine smell completely or do i have to hack my entire parquet flooring? Ive tried calling those paraquet flooring specialist but none of them can promise me if they can get rid of the urine smell completely when they polish / stain the floor. help help help....
