  1. I want to install 2 units of system 3 in my EA, however my apartment does not fall under the new blocks that have the updated Electrical Loading requirement. As such i am required request for HDB approval for this. However when i approached my Aircon Vendor (Courts), they would submit the paperwork for approval for $350, however as the apartment did not fall under the new Electrical loading requirement they would NOT want to submit at all as it would definitely be rejected hence wasting the $350 as well as their time. Can anyone confirm this? My thoughts are that if this was an instantly rejected issue why would HDB even ask you to get a permit or try to get a permit in the 1st place? Any thoughts?
  2. Hey guys am going to custom a floating (no legs) computer table which is about 6ft long and 2ft depth, table is going to be used by two people. Anyway any ideas or good websites to recommend where i can have a reference point on what to do with my table below are some of my requirements: 1. It will need 2 Trays for the Keyboards and Mice, 1 tray for each person, try will be slide out kind 2. All cables must be concealed (am thinking of using a Brush style housing, something like what they use in the Apple Showrooms, where i can shove all my cable inside) 3. Thinking of creating a special section the size of a drawer probably which will house all the Power Extension sockets will need about 9 - 12 heads 4. Nice area for small size laser printer as well as for a desk top PC , both to be placed underneath. 5. Table top will be used for 2 15inch latops and 2 x 22inch LCDs Thanks in advance guys...

  14. yeah i went to Furniture Mall last Sunday to take a look at the Calypso, must say it looks much bigger when u see it for real. Anyway its looks real nice and quite functional, however upon sitting on it the comfort level may not be that ideal if you intend to sit on it for long periods of time, especially if you are on the heavy side ..

  16. Actually i already did the 3D layout and my friend asked me to post pics, haa haa .. so i did up the video instead lah .. haa haa .. Anyway i am level 30+ facing North ... heh heh Oh yeah by the way any of you guys staying at 79 on the 30+ floors have installed Rain Shower / City Gas or Central heating combination? any problems with the pressure or the heating? I know a storage heater will definitely solve the issues of pressure and heating but its just so big and since we dun have a service yard, it gets quite unsightly in the small kitchen
  17. Surprisingly i did nearly all the same stuff as you except that i have additional -2m Study Table and Cabinets -Tiling works for Hall & Rooms -Tiling works for MBathroom Walls and Floor -No Hacking New Flat- However you have the additional Hacking of wall. In Total my quote was just under 25K So i dun think u are getting conned, but maybe on the medium high side.... but still cant be sure because it all comes down to the quality of the finished works and the customer service i guess. For me i still yet to know as i just signed contract recently and only starting work in the next couple of weeks so will keep u updated as to the progress .... if turns out well maybe you may consider my guy as well .. heh heh ..

  21. Hi Guys i have been reading up alot of the threads here and have come to the conclusion that Storage Heaters are the best option if you want to install a Rain Shower. However i would just like to check if any of you are using Either a City Gas Heater or a Central Instant Heater (Bennington c600) with a Rain Shower? If you are is it still usable? Hot Enough? Enough Pressure? Any other issues? Oh yeah here are some pics City Gas Heater Bennington C600 Type of Rain Shower i will be installing Thanks in advance !
  22. Actually i am about to engage one of them already, so far seems good and can pass most of my requirements. Will probabaly update when they start or when they pass me the 3D pics. Anyway while waiting for my ID to come up with the designs i actually already did a preliminary one myself to get an idea for the size of the house before i got my keys. Relatively simple one without textures though ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7lUoQwgHVQ
