most common brands work well we install one whereby speed 3 is very powerful but not speed 1 or 2 another brand, powerful and quite loud from our experience, confirm one thing, must install ceiling fan becoz very useful even when aircon is turned on, using ceiling fan will help to cool room much faster KDK is good if you do not need light with fan

now my turn to be undecided never engaged caterer before first time for house warming lunch prefer to have chinese/local food. no need to have halal about 100 pax total, will need them to serve food twice, once at about 1pm, another round for 2-3hours later please recommend, thank you

for outsourcing, can try if you know people who do it well if not leave it to ID/contractor to take care, if not coordinating the schedule etc very troublesome although getting the best deal is important, the most important thing in reno is to have responsible ID/contractor who get complete decent job in agreed time frame everything else is secondary just my thoughts

so true, we hardly cook so no real use for the hood but the lights is turned on almost every night of course, with better planning can install light at hood position but hood is useful when we really have to cook

self intro - about to collect key for my 3-room so came to read about reno ideas, tips etc water filter is an item that i really wanted to have in my new flat currently using OSIM water filter, replacement cartridge $40 every 4-5 months forum users have given loads of useful information yet i still can't decide which to get basically i want to get the best Alkaline water system that is out there in the market, as in among the few brands listed and mentioned so far my priority is the alkaline function, the stronger and efficient (in terms of water output) the better please comment and help as i still have difficulty understanding all the technical jargon discussed here e.g. 5 or 7 plates etc thank you for your help
