anyone know of good contractor ( budget )to recommend for simple cornices fixing for bedroom hope to hear from u all, many thks in advance

hi all, would like to seek yr kind advice concerning cornices repair does anyone has any idea what is the material used for cornices fixing onto the wall.. i have cornices fixed at the edge of my ceiling ( simple cornices) in my bed room for about 10yrs already, out of no where part of the pieces break and i m at a loss ??? to repair how much with ccontractor ??? or to remove the entire cornices in the bed room and replace brand new simple cornices, how much ??? or can we DIY repair ourself , ( buy the materials ( what kind of cement material ) to do ourself appreciate yr kind advice

can someone kindly advise ... for the size of a cornice ( 2 bedroom door size) came off from the ceiling sometime last yr .. simple cornices fitting along the edge of the ceiling fixed since 1998 ( abt 10yrs ) .. what is the advise , remove entire cornice from the room , simple lay out along the edge of the bedroom or patch back how much to fix back , safe or not ??? if remove entire cornices ??? how much for a bedroom can some kind soul advise .. many thanks
