i have got some experience to share on this company in imm - seagull. i have purchase a set of sofa from them in late june 2010. our house will be ready in aug - sept 2010.
the sales gal that we met was very very pushy, insisted that we pay a deposit. she claim that the sofa is manufacture in europe and needs about 2 mths for shipment. her claims that there is limited stock, so if we need it by the date our house will be ready, the shipment might not arrive in time. so it's better that we place a deposit to secure the set. my hubby n i like the set very much, so we decided to pay the deposit.
so 2 weeks before the delivery, i started calling them to arrange for a delivery. i have to call a number of times before someone picks up the phone. the first time, the lady that picks up the phone sounds very rude, she get from me the model number and sales contract number and told me so will check if that date is available. one week has passed, no one calls me back. so i decided to call them up again. this time round the same lady, i got her name, she is kelly picks up the phone. she says that the delivery on 9th september is full and she says that because i only call up today to make arrangement for next week. she cant arrange for it. but i told her that i called up one week ago to arrange for that. given them two weeks in advance. she frustrately say that she will call me two days before the requested delivery date to confirm as she is not able to see she can push away other delivery on that day.
i am very worried now if the sofa will eventually be delivered or not... i'm keeping my finger cross on that. hope they do not deliver the wrong color or model. i'll update again on the status. sorry for the lengthy posting... =)
