You should ask your contractor wether they using those solid type of wood or normal wood and wether got ABS (not sure wat is it for) trimming or not. my contractor say can get as cheap as $55 but using very cheap wood. so he suggest that if using it for long run, y not pay more rather then have to do it all over again. so end up i chose to pay more lor lol.

finally its friday. Been very busy with work so no time to update on my reno. Now left with only kithcen cabinet, laminate flooring & doors. Laminate will install on monday and will move in on monday night itself hehe. Can't wait for everything to complete. So far everything went smoothly. Worksmanship can be said very good. Only complain i have for now is the laminate flooring. Supposedly flooring to be completed by today but due to some probs with the laminate supplier, can only be install on monday. Met Iz just now and he keep on saying sorry for the delay although its not a big issue to us. Very nice guy. Recommend Iz to my cuzzie and they will start doing up their place on monday. ok time to post some pictures.

the tiling, plastering of ceilings, plumbings and electrical should be completed by this saturday.will update again. stray801- thank you for recommending him to me. everytime my MIL went over, she'll see him over there talking to his worker. he told my MIL that its his responsibility to come down and inspect whats going on every single day. my MIL really likes him haha. aniway havent see the finish product yet so cant say much about him now. hopefully he'll treat me as good as he treated stray801 lol.

really dislike the colour of this ceilings and the cornices and the design. cant wait for it to dissapear lol.

hi stray, how's your reno goin on? Any problem or hidden cost so far? i've also sign up with your contractor after comparing all the quotes tat i got. He's quite a young chap uh. doesnt look like 34 at all lol.Anyway i'm doin up the whole kitchen, toilet and some other stuff. They will start hacking 2morrow. will post the pix soon. Keep me update on your reno or should there be any probs that i need to know.
