U know those price tags on gifts we buy, I have seen a salesman using a lighter to sort of heating the tag very quickly and peel off. Initially when I saw him taking out the lighter, i was . I tot why he needs a lighter to wrap present? The tag came off nicely but with our furnitures, better try with cautious.

Maybe i should start with mistakes and errors first. For study table. we couldnt cross our legs when we sit cos there are drawers under it. So when we sit on the study chair, can only sit with legs side by side and tuck in. ID told us the measurement of study table top but we didnt know that its from the wall. There is a space where the hidden electrical point is and nothing can be place on top. Wastage of work area. The space at the extreme right (nearer to the window) cant be used much. So place photos.

i know those price tags on things that we bought, can use feng you (medicated oil) to remove.

Like what the rest said is up to ur own usage. Personally, i like those tall drawers, when u pull out, got those wire baskets/shelf which u can put the dry stuff in. Wanted my id to do but too late, carpentry already started at that time.

Regarding those sales man that says hdb gate not secured and all, we also encounter those when we first shifted in, abt 9 yrs ago. Then also heard of break in. Dunno is it rumours or really break-in. After that 1 break-in, didnt hear of anymore. And didnt see those sales man again. BTW i didnt change the gate or their so called lock or something.

Gals' room, i felt that the headboard is too big. But the gals love their bed. Have yet to put up the decals cos instructions given on the box was to wait for new paint to settle in for 30 days. Study table, thou my 3 yr old might not use it much, we did 2 sets so that next time no need to find space again.

My air con was left behind by the ex-owner. Its a 2 yrs old set. We seldom use air con maybe just the gals will use more often so i didnt check or change the piping. 2day the air con ppl came again. It was actually during the reno, the tilers did something and didnt fix back the pipe properly. Luckily we tried before switching it the whole nite. Imagine the next morning i were to wake up to see a shallow pool in my room. My id got the curtain maker to cme dwn. Came on time and gave us some ideas. But was way above my budget. So my husband told him our budget and ask him to work out from there. In the end, it exceeded by $67 so we are ok with it. Anyway thanks ladies for recommending mr chew. My id arranged for her curtain maker to come but no show. Actually didnt want to engage her curtain maker but husband was saying see first then decide. Looks like I should call Mr Chew instead. BTW my air con pipe leaking again. The ppl came to fix and left so we tried. Then drip drip drip again!
