Luckily the pipe is just the straight type. The common toilet looks much bigger. For the basin side, will put toiletries like tootbrush inside the cabinet, hope to keep it clutter free. Then at the shower area, want to get those suction or 3M type to put shower stuff. Initally wanted to drill onto walls but on 2nd thots we decided not to. Cos want change position after drilling, will leave holes on tiles.

Mistakes & Errors This is my gal's top hung study cabinet. Regretted a little doin this or perhaps should have taken the detailed drawing to the site and see the measurements. There is beam at the ceiling, hence a protruding part in the cabinet. Thou looks high from outside but cant put files standing up, got to arrange it lying down. I can choose to take away the shelf but that would mean wasting the space which means less space to put things. Could have also do away with the small display shelf then would have 'eaten' to the space below and have the files being able to arranged standing up.

really must use special detergent? Any for laminate? Luckily i not the 1 one mopping the floor. hahaha. But still feel that the marble floor is very cold. Froggy, ur marble look nice! Modern design.

i even got the cleaning lady to pack and unpack for me. She helped me with the kitchen and storeroom. Then she cleaned and helped to hang the clothes.

Sam jie, congrats on moving in, Till date, i haven finished packing. Basically week days is busy with work, only weekend can unpacking. Now left study room and bit of clothings. Tired but happy at the same time right? Can have ur own roof and comfy bed to Zzzz on.

Here is another review of 1 shop, Lighting.com.sg! Another good service shop which we would go again. Before we started our reno, we have actually browsed thru quite a few shops along Balestier Rd. Lighting.com.sg is so far the cheapest we have seen. Even Shop A which id recommended also could not match their price. Husband also did not like the attitude and sales talk that shop A's salesman have. Lighting.com.sg may not have many fanciful or those branded lightings but to me the choces are enough. Price wise is cheap. The sales girl is not the pushy type and allow us to think and browse thru. I dunno how many lights we on and off and on again. When we couldnt decide which dining light and we were in a rush, she suggested taking photos then can consider it at home. ID arranged for the delivery and all was delivered promptly. When the electrician told us that the T5 for the gals' study is too long, we went back to change, no questions asked and we just paid for the difference (cos we bought shorter but 2 more T5). One of the 'crystals' was missing on our dining light, they also gave me a new 1 immediately, no dili-dalying. Great Service :good: :good:

ya lor, initally was like banging my head, why we didnt hack it away. Luckily manage to paint it over. BTW remember to lock ur main door even if u are home. Last time when i just shifted in to SK, some1 tried to open my main door when i was home. My husband said maybe ah nai looking for a place to sleep.

So there is diff in the 2 branch? I always go tampines cos its nearer for us and more parking space.

yup, we paid extra for it but i think it's worth the $. They took almost 3 hrs just to paint the gals' wardrobe and the shoe cabinet. Cos of the nature of the original material, the paint couldnt stay on.

We researched thru RT and this is really a good place for ideas, lobangs and 'poisons' One of the shops we went after getting gd reviews here is Everjoint. We went there 3 times. First to ask for prices, 2nd time to order and the third to add more things. We paid full after placing the order cos the delivery date is only abt a week away. The lady who served us is polite and knowledgeable. Most importantly she is not pushy and left us to consider. Our ID helped us to arrange for the delivery and everything was delivered as promised. Book shelf, husband said not enough. I think would go ikea and get some low shelves.

The shoe cabinet was left behind by the ex-owner. As it was still in gd condition, we decided to keep it. ID got the painter to paint it over. Before the colour change After the paint over

Always be on site when the plumber install the toilet stuff. i have mosaic tiles in both toilets and wants to have the shower mixer in the middle of strip of mosaic. During the installation they realised that mosaic are basically glass and cant be drill else it would break. So they gei kiang and drill the mixer at the side of the mosaic. Thats totally out of place. So in the end, they have to come down, take out what they have install and drill into the mosaic. Only a small part broke and dropped off. Luckily the mixer can cover a little and not obvious. Better than having a out of place shower. Then we didnt want to see the holes in the wrongly drill tiles so insisted to my id to get it replaced. They also didnt install the basin at the place we wanted. They took out and changed the position.

I in NC, dun want la, dun want to trouble my colleagues. My gal also sticky type, she will stand outside the staff room door waiting to see her mama. Also my mil looks after her before sch so imagine got to travel from SK to Amk then back to SK for sch then go back to Amk for dinner then back to SK to Zzzz.
