I'm staying in AMK, 4 room. Ur toilet can put in the shower screen? Mine only a small one cos got no space. Can the toilet door be swing open with the shower screen there? U might want to take note of that. U mentioned of changing the door. Is it main door? If it is, then must be fire rated if near to staircase (less than 3m away). Get a contractor, save $. Especially if u know the colour scheme which u want.

My silicon at the kitchen basin also turn black at certain part. So we can apply this anti-fungal silicone over it?

Luckily u all checked before installing. That is really gd customer service. Instead of pushing the blame ard, they rectified and solve the problem. Cant wait to see the lights in ur hse.

Quite a few fellow forumers went to either Hommage (near the old Jackson coffeeshop) or S&C Furnitures (near AMK swimming). U can try both. I went to both, the lady at S&C was approachable. She told us that we need to know the colours before ordering. The man (i think the boss) at Hommage was also nice to bring us ard. To us sofa is a must try and test out before ordering. The rest like cupboards, shoe racks, dining table still can order thru catalogue. Just read thru vana's tblog (4rm at cassia crescent). She ordered some stuff from Hommage.

We have been staying in for 2 mths but shower screen just came recently (due to 7th mth). Still has water near the bowl area but much better as compared to none.

Yes yes, here got a lots of coffee shop and a market at my place. I also have the same problem like u, cant get a season parking lot at my car park. So hubby has to park at the opp road car park then walk over. Problematic when in the morning he has to send the 2 gals, worse if it rains. So nw we buy next mth season way way much earlier like beginning of sep, we renew for oct.

We did our reno in 1 mth (23/6 til 24/7). Of course not all stuff are ready, rectifications still on going but at least its a move in condition. Must get all stuff that needs to be installed to be delivered. Like lightings, toilet bowls & basin, kitchen sink, water storage etc. My id helped me to call the all those shops to arrange for delivery so that she can plan in the schedule. However some stuff got to close 1 eye cos its a rush job as compared to others who uses 2 mths. If possible, go down every day to check progress.

U have to alight at Sengkang station to change to the East loop. Like u change MRT at city hall station to go to bugis station. To get to Rivervale Mall, u got to take the train at the platform facing Compass point. From the beginning its confusing but after a few times u will get used to it. Actually i left LRT cos no traffic lights, no traffic jams. Rain or shine also the same speed and air con always on. 1 thing i miss after i shifted is LRT!!!

Yes cos the west loop not many residents as compared to east loop so only certain directions. 1) u want to go to Compass point before 3pm, u will hop on at fernvale then train goes to layar then tongkang then renjong then compass point. 2) u want to go Compass point after 3pm, u will hop on at fernvale then train goes to thangam then (dunno wat name and nt in service) then (the swimming pool station) then Cheng lim then Compass point. 3) From Compass point before 3pm, u want to go back to fernvale, go to the platform facing Compass point, must make sure the words is in red that says 'West Loop'. 4) From Compass point after 3pm, u want to go back to fernvale, go to the platform facing the condo, must make sure the words is in red that says 'West Loop'. ** During sch days the train goes 2 directions but up to 830 or ard that time. U can try going to Rivervale Plaza, got foodcourt, Mac, Long John Silver and NTUC. The station name is Ranggun (if i remember correctly), near Rivervale Pri. Can also go and eat roti prata at jalan kayu, alight at thamgan which is just after fernvale (after 3pm). Cross the overhead bridge, pass the landed properties and u can see shophouses. ** During sch days the train goes 2 directions but up to 830 or ard that time.
