Since your place is a condo, i presume the pipes are concealed. So you need to hack the wall to change the pipes right? Did Patrick hack the wall and the aircon man just come and lay the pipes and then Patrick patch back the wall? -

I just went to Gain City and Courts, they said they don't relocate the pipings for condo because hacking of wall involved. They said i must ask the contractor to hack the wall then they go and lay the pipes and later come back to fix the blowers. So now if i engage an ID or contractor , the fellow must know how to do the hacking for the pipes. Headaches! Perfecthouse -

Hi Starblume Tks for the quotation. Is it cheaper to buy aircon frm aircon retailers than asking the contractor to buy? If the contractor can supply then we need not make sure the aircon arrive on time or chase after the aircon man so as not the hold up the reno. If the aircon pipes are run by the aircon man, will there be conflcts with the contractor? Is the contractor suppose to tell the aircon man how to run the pipes or the contractor will wait and see how the pipes are run before he start on his tiling? Mine is an old condo where the aircon are at odd location so i need to relocate all the aircons. I wonder if there will be a problem as all pipings need to be re-run. Perfecthouse -

Hi worldangel I am undecided to whether to use an ID or contractor to do up my house. From what i gather from this forum, contractor and ID price is about the same. Is it possible to share your quotaion from Ho Bee with me so that i can have an ideal. Tks -

Hi starblume I bought a resale condo and am looking for either an ID firm or contractor to hack and re-do the whole house except for the bedrooms' parquet flr. I have seen one of the flat done by Ho Bee. Workmanship is quite good. I am thinking of approaching A&D Interior, Summit Design Studio, Impress 21 and Ho Bee for quotation. Did you get quotation frm any ID firm? If you have, is the price alot more than from contractor? Can you share your quotation from Ho Bee with me? -

Anyone ever use Alton William of Ideal house? Any comments on his design and service?
