hahah we have got the same lightings! I purchased mine from Lightings.com.sg too! It is really cheaper compared to elsewhere, that is why it is fixed price. The shops outside, must haggle to bring down the price, what a waste of time. Any comments on the quality? Did u notice any other pendant lights which you like?

Offhand for a 5 room flat including balcony, the figures should be: $2+k for the window pannels and $1+k for the window grilles. Hope this helps.

Learnt a lesson from my renovation- Apart from the price, the quality is also an important factor. Some IDs may give you comparable price, but the quality is less desirable. Do check with your ID on the quality before agreeing!

is it difficult to maintain? Any other ways to decorate the balcony to give it a resort feel?

I made a trip to these places over the weekend and checked out some of the shops which were mentioned here. 1) ROYAL FANCO- was sorely dissapointed when I visited the shop due to the lack of variety. The items were not well-displayed and very cram. 2) Poh Joo- Nice variety and the quality of the goods appear to be of higher standard. The price was also decent. It is not the cheapest, but would be what I deem as most value for money. 3) Hoe Kee (at Paya Lebar) - Service leaves much to be desired. The variety is not bad though.
