  1. Ideal House has also completed my renovation for me. My ID was prompt and answered my calls/ SMS. I am very thankful for this. I will recommend Ideal House for people with a budget and young start-up family, although the quality can be improved
  2. Wow this is very nice. If i will like to install something like this in my balcony, and use it as a shoe cabinet as well, is this possible or advisable?
  3. Use a rounded basin instead of rectangular as the latter takes up more space (tend to be bulkier).
  4. hey gakuseisean, those are nice pictures. Thanks for showing us how it would turn out. Looking from your pictures, then birch would definitely seem more homey. As you mentioned, a lot will depend on the lighting and the wall colour then.
  5. I know of a good aircon man, recently did my system 3 inveter mitsubishi aircon for my place. Let me know if you need his contact.
  6. I'd like to do this for my balcony. Any one has pictures to share please?
  7. anyone's kitchen cabinet has a big gap in the middle of the 2 doors? What did the contractor do to fix it?
  8. I bought the latest KDK fan which has a blue beam. My husband is so fascinated with it and it has an auto sensor (i.e. that fan speed will adjust based on the surrounding temperature).
  9. I guess I was really lucky because all my lights at home were purchased from lightings.com.sg and there was no defect. Perhaps my designs were simple, no hanging pendant etc, thus the possibility of defects were minimized. My only fanciful design was the brown one pictured above (but mine is round instead of square). I am pleased with the quality so far.
  10. Sounds like mine. I used white homogeneous tiles and reserved the brown laminate for master bed rooms or the other rooms.
  11. I bought a console from Cellini as we do not want the typical feature wall. It's brilliant because we can easily hide the wires and the TV is mounted on the console, not the wall.
  12. Budgetice, that is right. My tiling works from Ideal House ID was done well! However, I am abit dissapointed with the quality of the kitchen cabinet as it appears a little flimsy. I was even more upset when there were drilling holes in my cupboard and the contractor wanted to use a white marker to cover them up. We informed our ID and glad that the doors were replaced.
  13. how do you all find the quality of their kitchen cabinets?
  14. nice vanity table tops.. but can some users feedback the practicality of it? Primary concern is keeping the wood dry.
  15. Oh my goodness! I chose the same recliner 3 seater and that exact same table from Cellini too! Mine is black chairs though. What a coincidence The sofa is superb right? I feel like i can totally sleep in it like a baby.
  16. I started hunting for a flat in September, visit 10 flats and finally settled on one in late October 09. During our flat hunting, we missed out on a good flat, which had 40k COV.
  17. I think Cellini? There's a sofa which they said was micro-fibre, so it'd be cooler.

    Cellini

I forgot to add that there's a bean bag sale- with any purchase, buy a bean bag at 9.90. How cute! But it may be meant for kids. The larger size is 49.90!

    Cellini

I've just made my purchase with cellini. It was highly recommended by my parents for the quality. I went to Furniture mall and IFC. The Furniture Mall sales person- Michelle, was a lot more accomodating than the IFC sales staff. I'd recommend going to Furniture Mall at Beach Road than to waste your time travelling to IFC. We bought the 2998 sofa and did some top up because we wanted a better sofa. It feels like business class seat on SQ. We also changed the bed frame and console stuffs to the dining table instead. I am so excited for our great buys to be delivered to us!
  21. I am doing my renovation now and note that for the kitchen which we are painting, they have cement screed it and will be plastering and then paining it over. They did not hack the old tiles away. Is this normal?
