since on this topic.. my current place recently signed up for Mio cause installation free and sort and because starhub lost the viewing rights for the sports channel. using Mio to watch the standard def channels like 5, 8 and CNA.. i must say the pictures are really crisp clear and looks like watching a LED! is definitely not the case when i switched back to watch the channels on starhub so thinking Mio like not bad.. but then... I LOVE MY MYTHBUSTERS!

actually, if the fridge is still usable and you wanna discard it to get a new one, garang guni cfm take one i think. you don't need to pay a fee... they pay you instead! ha

hey there, congrats on your new dwelling ya! very very squarish and big! my first appt was in late may, so I suppose our reno journey would be in tandem ya. will be stalking your tblog..... ha suppose you still have time to react to the house design right? strictly IMHO at 2 cents view too... i do feel with the rest that the breakfast table in the kitchen is slightly cramped. more over, dimension wise, your fridge alone taking 894 mm in width (nt inclusive of the allowance), thus yr breakfast table has to extend beyond the wall and creating a narrow entrance to the laundry area i.e also cramped. meaning, do laundry may pose challenges (if you're getting washer dryer, then is fine). and maybe very stuffy if i may add. i feel violently with very gd vibes that the wall behind where yr piano placement is can be well activated for use. too wasted living it bare. and from living room, it can't be seen, best! of course, subjected to piping and sort. also, infer from your floor plan, i noticed that the kitchen would be greeted upon entering the house, so perspective wise, seeing the fridge and partial breakfast table may not be the best visual. i will make use of the wall and hang a contemporary drawing and line up a slim long dining table near to the wall. gives your kitchen more depth too and gives it a bigger feeling i feel. meaning living room may not need the dining area right. and since there's a piano there, i will make the right side of the living room my entertainment area with bean bags and rugs that sort toilet wise, yea... better to look for round taps. a hard knock at the corner of the square basin sure gives you blue black definitely. trust me, i ganna before. no joke. haha.

13 yrs is really a long time. but if the tiling system does not fail, it should last as long at it should i.e more than 13 years also noticed the floor are of smaller tiles which I suppose is pretty "in" at that "era". is the same story for my case too. nice floor tiles but am redoing it too.

haha... problem with guys about specs and technical specs whoring but yea, at strictly plain 50 hz and 100 hz, the image is really quite noticeable actually. but i heard 100 hz and 200 hz is negligible.

well then, clearly we just witnessed a typical case of sales pitching eh. each salesperson has their agenda and one agenda only, that is Alec Balwin's ABC in Glengarry Glen Ross. A - Always, B - Be, C - Closing. Always be closing. ALWAYS BE CLOSING! either way, a sales has been made. either they sell you or you sell them (that's another movie quote btw). ok, i'm digressing. i jus googled and some points to add; the misconception about half-leather or full-leather is that the former is always loosely interpreted as the entire sofa is not real leather i.e PU / PVC. truth is half leather only means that the backs and sides of the sofa are pu / pvc whereas the sitting part is still leather. then the million dollar question is what leather is on the sitting part then? top or full grain leather? split leather? bonded leather? so 'get half leather so if it really flake or peel i can just change without feeling too much pain' or 'most important is the leather quality i feel cause no point spending the money but only to last for a year or so and its start to peel, fungi attack', it really depends on budget and your mindset. but remember, am sucker for one enlightening logical liner and the salesperson from XZQT said this, "if you are already buying a half-leather, what makes you think that the manufacturer will splurge on good quality leather on the sitting part? is just not economically viable for them" also, touching on warranty issue, i've been to 2 shops and they both gave individual warranties for their leather fyi. but complaints on their own so called warranty for their leather is really case-to-case correct? from what i understand from the 2 shops, the warranty for their leather is against peeling or cracking. they explained that there are cases of abuse on the leather which obviously void the warranty itself. then there is the case of the leather seems damaged but actually if it's full / top grain leather, it could be the case of healed scars from the living cattle during it's lifetime - akin to veins on natural marble. get the drift? finally, full or half leather if nadir maintenance on it, it is still gonna be tattered and withered judging from the above, u think? haha but then, I have plans. keep your fingers crossed!

yea, better have it checked it out. otherwise, spend the money but end up not able to enjoy the benefits of it.. very heartache. but then seems that I am right about using storage heater for rain shower huh. Plus, mine is a low floor! ha
