  1. eh eh EH.... rubbing salt into wound issit. hahahaha mayb 4th floor huh. noise is easily noticable. tat's why i kip gannaing Thank you! actually the boxing all in all did make the house look slightly smaller. so much so we actually recalled our id back from malaysia one sunday and we were assured through a simulation exercise to determine any more space to be freed
  2. smoothly? nt tat quite actually. but not my id's fault for sure. cause apparently, some residents and the nursery in my block are so anal bout noise that they keep complaining to town council! even today! each complain would mean a few hours downtime cause apparantly town council would call my id to stop works first. this is literally driving my id to the brink of exasperation i tell u. i mean if i dont drill when doing my electrical works, how the sheet am i going to complete my reno?! not to mention carpentry works which is going to happen this week. only make matters worse now that 5th floor is also doing reno too. agghhhh!!! maddening
  3. DAY BOXING a lil nip and tuck, a lil hide and stashed, and many boxing up, u get major before and after pics; TOP: false ceiling for house is completed now. this pic is taken recently after painting was completed. main door painted white too, MK switches in the house (apart from rooms) are installed but lower down to well.. a condo poser/wannabe. ha TOP: bomb shelter area intentionally boxed out to flush with kitchen cabinets TOP: where there were wall tiles previously, we just mount a board over it and repaint. some cost savings here we agreed. TOP: kitchen cabinets will be neat and really linear after the boxing up. again, where there were wall tiles previously, we just mount a board over it and repaint TOP: trunkings in mbr are a thing of the past now ok, funny why ppl pay gd money to make themselves wake up 3.00 am in the morning, on a sunday, do a 21km and post this message when they should be sleeping already! enjoy your sunday morning breakfast folks! coming up next... painting and laminates in the room
  4. eh eh eh EH.... and suddenly your reno is about to finish! my carpentry just started only you know. haha must had been an ultra smooth process for you. i see 3d laminates effect huh? need to wear goggles? haha.. jus kidding and yea, use a decent digi cam to take more pics for RT ya. gee, my id is gonna get 1 x jailatz jialatz from me. ppl already finishing liao. hahah happy for you bro!
  5. Day Something means yes indeed, i lost track liao. now HO is pushed a few days later edging to first few days of oct. some delays here and there but partly we self-induced cause did not want them to continue till we hear our id further. in the end, many were no cause for alarm or otherwise, is preference matter. but largely, we were very particular, missus was very particular. ha water pressure is good (as heard confidentally verbally by plumber) and yes, we bought our raindance even before hearing that. ha! must have faith! haha
  6. have you checked with your id? cause i bought mine main door handleset and room locks and just throw it to my id to install for me
  7. really a blessing that you found the right contractors to do the works.. but going through the series of pictures of your water piping, i suppose your walls are hackable one huh. otherwise if it's a concrete column, then "hor hor", you're also like me doing something fishy....... hahah
  8. don't worry.. from here on, works will take place so fast you hardly have time to react. or at least, that's what it is happening to my unit now! but at least, i coined it positively as "happy problems" cause the unit is slowly but surely manifesting into a dream house. am sure yrs would be too!
  9. ooo.. no wonder. i was like so curious why my aircon guys so uptight bout the pipes. wa, u mean up and down also having the pipes being concealed? must be a big project huh wa... am quite sure is better to use a water tank instead to really attempt to have bigger water pressure. which flr are you on, may i ask? cause a few real examples here in RT have been using Hansgrohe but with miserable water coming out from it. so u better make sure ya
  10. see... i told you everyone has high expectations for you all. ha
  11. wa... your postings come thick and fast huh! reno must be really smooth for you eh jus curious, my air con guys were scratching their head so much jus to make sure my water piping goes one straight line and to a lower point at the outlet. i see yrs up and down. is that the gas pipes alone? pardon me if i get the terms wrong ya WA! tat's really one big ticket item. i got my raindance and i already got my fair share of warnings do make sure your water pressure is good enough to enjoy the pure goodness ya
  12. am at low flr, 4th floor sir throw in a water heater and is a 6 yr old flat, i buy the plumber's words. ha!
  13. DAY TRUNKING TOP: before (left) and after (right). the only more noticeable trunking is in the 2nd room TOP: before (left) and after (right) in WIW and mbr. some major boxing up will take place here coming next... boxing day comes early this year for FP & XY
  14. fortunately, my plumber went mouth wide open when I asked him to check on the water pressure cause he said my unit confirm very big pressure. dont even need to test it
  15. yes, is nice to be back. cause it means am taking a breather albeit the hectic rush between work, house and wedding more is coming in the next post totally white white? no no, not like those white compressed quartz marble but fair enough, is white enough. roomba huh? should be quite a conversation when guests r in the house and u let the machine do its work
  16. supposed you're all well and recovered eh! otherwise, i doubt i get to see the too long and rainy sword saga. haha i usually whip out the same liner when it comes to hacking "from heaps of destruction, thou flat shall reborn" time to get busy busy busy!
  17. well, i agree with yr id. jus make sure u use it regularly ya. u should see what happened to one of the bathtubs i saw during viewing, it was stashed with unused toiletries and shoes! hey hey hey, very similar wiw concept we have in mind here ya. anyway, congrats on getting your keys ya! time to get busy busy busy
  18. u should be, u should be. u deserve it! nice and very bold in colors selection i must say but i jus can't take my eyes off that huge tv! ha. u sure is 40 only? then it must b true, that tv gets one size bigger when is inside the house compare to shop. CONGRATS CONGRATS on the completion of the house! everything spanking clean and new. so shiok!
  19. darth bro, am still staying tuned to your pics! ha i finally made extra effort to update mine, so should you ya. hope everything is going A OK for you.
  20. DAY SOMEDAY - TILING top: living / dining 600 x 600 homogeneous white tile from Hafary. also, insisted on smaller skirting tiles which is much eye pleasing. top: common toilet tiling works. ignore the floor tiles. is grey but the lighting is not doing it justice. some delays in here cause wife was really uncomfortable how the tiles were laid and put a stop to the tiling. eventually, all is well. more so after the grouting. top: mbr toilet with marble-like tiles. unfortunately, unable to do a step down at the shower area as there was no allowance unlike the common bath coming next... aircon piping. Will the intervention of the horrendous trunking brew yet another storm? For all the suspense and actions, stay tuned to find out more in this blkbuster starring FP & XY, happening only in studio 4, Jelebu Road!
  21. *drums roll* *throw the dry ice* *dim the lights* *the trumpets* The name is Ne0. king of kings and ruler of EA Jelebu Road, I AM BAAAACCCCCK! where do i even begin man? from where I left off in RT, things happen in the house at fibre optic godspeed and really, leaving me and my wife feeling so happily drained and relief tired. feelings for this house at different stage also took a roller-coaster ride not for the faint hearted. all in all I learnt, wife and i learnt that paper-management and site-management? quite different. now? is back to square one. back to square one? yes, just like when we first saw our flat... loving it. loving to dish out this EA progress report in the next few posts. share the joy with us
  22. We have tallied our votes and the verdict is out, signed, sealed and delivered. Mrs Neo bought her sink.
  23. hhmmm.. leaving it jus barren may nt be such a bad idea afterall. throw in the unlikely ensemble cast of misfits banding away while i try dig the soil (that's my last area to look it anyway) for my triangle with mouthpiece, the picture really seems straight from a scene from a Tim Burton's production. hahah you know you're not making many friends with such a WIW? hahaha you have my envy, hands and legs down. haha
  24. yea, definitely 3rdrock is a looker. i set my eyes on angelous666 too.... d a r n that super infinity island i call it. and giraffe too. and not forgetting yours too, titanax. my eyes big big to see yours. ha! huh.... samjie nt spreading the love le. hahah think my curtains have to push further cause of bugetting wise, so u think u can at least let me try to pre-book mr chew for a much more slated date? hee
