for any hacking of wall need to get HDB approval.. go your ground floor at the same area see if there is any pillar lo. if at the same spot the pillar is there most prob you cannot hack away. but by the looks of it, you should not have any issues hacking that away. spots that cannot be hack are all those in black and those surrounding the house la..
