we went to Kallang Mega store yesterday.. and was browsing thru the washing machine and built in oven.. looks like we have to put the built in oven on hold as my MIL insist on buying one for us.. since she's buying.. we didnt have to heart to ask for expensive one.. just a decent and practical one will do.. haiz.. where did you buy yr furnitures from?? and pictures to share and how much? Am looking for sofa and dining table...

ermm.. shd be 2-3 weeks time.. but we'll only move in after 25JUne.. Hubby being called for reservist during 21st -25th June..

yep.. we have decide on the lighting points.. but still we didnt opt for the lights at the cabinet cuz we're really trying to cut down cost here.. haiz.. just rewiring back all over again cost about 2.8k.. haiz.. so we just choose very bright cool light for our kitchen..

Today.. we went to purchase our lightings.. due to budget constraint, we had to keep everything simple and practical.. but still the cost mount up to 1K We bought them from Eurostar Lighting & Furnishings Pte Ltd So far, everything is good.. the sales man is quite friendly and didnt push up to get those expensives one.. They're having this promotion for downlights (OSRAM) at SGD19.90 each (18w x2) .. some place we went earlier cost about SGD26.00 each.. haiz.. money money money..

Agree she'll forget a lil bit forgetful.. but once the reno start.. she'll keep on checking on the site to see the workmanship and update u here and there.. what do u think of her design and have u decide which ID/contractor to engage?? I cant wait to see yr home completed esp the toilet.. she told me my reno will be completed in 2-3weeks time.. cant wait..

we've only bought part of the accessories such like basin, faucet and W/c at hoekee .. sorry no pics available.., more to come and yep i need 2 set of those S/S towel rack.. talking about those grab holders.. where can i get them and do u have any idea how much they cost.. it'll be a good idea to place them in the common toilet.. Really appreciate yr ideas.. genious!!

HI blueocean.. thats only a feature wall for the tv.. we covered all the wall and made a lil divider towards the kitchen to cover the fridge area.. our kitchen is the open concept type.. we'd actually wished for a storage area but due to space constraints, we have to forgo the idea.. As for the lighting's.. there's no lights at the counter top.. i hope there's the kitchen wont be too dim after we've install the lighting's..

i wanted a bright looking home.. so i go for light colors.. white is a no more for me.. as i know i wont be able to maintain..
