Dear all I received many PMs asking abt my shower screen. Just to clarify. I did NOT get my shower screen from doctordoors.com.sg. I happened to do a price comparison between my contractor vs doctordoors and realized my contractor quoted me double of what doctordoors quoted. When I told my contractor, he matched doctordoors price. I was happy as I do not need to deal with another vendor in an already-complicated reno process. the price given by doctordoors is nett, no hidden costs. I used LAMITAK white laminate for my kitchen. Can't rem but 1 forummer said to use 3M stainless steel cleaner to clean white solid top and laminate once a week. My maid cooks everyday...so far, ok. i moved in 6 months ago.

My hubby and I did not understand the technical part but I read somewhere in renotalk and it seemed instant water heater cannot work with rain shower. Hence i was really surprised POH SENG owner said no problem 3 times when I asked 3 times. He said only Rubine can work with instant water heater, not the other brands he was selling. He is a crook, through and through.

Dear Forummers I previously recommended forummers to buy their sanitary, toilet fittings and water heater from POH SENG hardware along Jln Besar, spending $1500. PLS don't or you will live to regret it. I bought all my stuff from them including 2 ALPHA instant water heaters, Rubine rain shower set, etc etc. The owner kept saying the Rubine rain shower set works with ALPHA instant water heater even though I asked 3 times. Trusted his words...how wrong I was. After moving in and using it for barely 4 months, both my water heaters burst. ALPHA said cannot use rain shower with their water heater. When we told them POH SENG said can, the tai chi game started. Now POH SENG said they never said the 2 can work together. ALPHA said they do not interfere with their distributor. Why the **** did I buy both rain shower and water heater from the same shop if they cannot work together ????!!!! Real asshole !!!! I am utterly pissed ! Anyone has any bright ideas to pin Poh Seng down?

i used aluminium composite panel as backsplash. You can install immediately onto wall. (not sure if you can just instal metal sheet w/o attached to a backing first) 8 feet by 4 feet at $40, free delivery - DAMA.COM.SG they charge $1 to cut to the size you want. see my blog.

The solid top in the kitchen toilet was inserted in after my contractor did major cutting of the wall tile. That was a bad move as we had already moved in and the cutting created a bad mess. Hence, for my master toilet, he bought adjustable brackets from hardware store and it was much faster with far less mess. Pai sei, my girl's drawing is only good in our eyes...cannot go 'public'....have to turn you down....

Yes she started attending formal art classes in Mar 2010. She does art at my square coffee table...ha ha
