  1. Ezi Living Hi Dry Laundry System Operating the System After hanging the clothes, the poles are pushed all the way forward... Abd finally, all the way out into the sun...
  2. Ezi Living Hi Dry Laundry System Operating the System This is the resting state... all the way up to the ceiling... This is the mid-state.. This is the time to hang the clothes...
  3. Ezi Living Hi Dry Laundry System Installed this thing last week... All is good with the system except that the hydraulic is abit stong and needs quite a bit of strength to pull in down and out... But, i think we should get better when we are more familiar with the 'pulling-down-and-pushing-out" actions... Not to mention we would have loads of muscle by then... haa... But overall, still think that it should be better than having to carry poles out of the window... Ok.. Shall comment more after we move in and try out the system for some time and see if there are major problems and benefits to the system...
  4. Thanks hcbing... Think this kind of black and white combi is those cant go wrong kind but it wont be that special.. Lucky me and wife both prefer black, white and those muted colours rather than those loud colours like red, green, yellow... Haa.. we are boring people...
  5. Thanks! Ok.. So, are you confirmed signing with him? He is really experienced after so many years in the industry... But he is too busy to my liking.. The project Manager Richard is a responsible and nice guy too... haa... and also, remember, dont bother to ask him to bring you to buy the toilet stuff and the lighting stuff.. Because the place he brings you is way too ex.. Better and more fun to go shop around yourself...
  6. Thanks!! Yah... Because our toilet is too small and we wanted to fit in a shower screen, so we have to shift out the Vanity from the toilet... The basin will be installed after the suspended vanity cabinet is made which will be done in less than 2 weeks time..
  7. Haa.. I think those are not LED lights.. those are the shower spouts where water will flow out... LED lights during showering is too romantic (Cant think of a better word... Like showering under the stars)... haaa..
  8. oops.. I think you meant the Main Door instead right? Yah.. Of course will be changing that old retro looking door...
  9. You mean the PD door? The one in the photo is the newly installed one.. haa...
  10. First Wash Done Master Toilet This is how the rain shower looks like... Close up look at the tiles...
  11. First Wash Done Living Room The corrugated board was removed and Richard (Project Manager) did a first wash to the house... Kitchen Common Toilet PD door for the Common Toilet is installed but we havent peeled off the plastic seal, that's why the door appear blackish in colour...
  12. Let There Be Light Master Toilet View The Master Toilet & the Common Toilet have the same kind of lights... The switches for the heater and the Master Toilet & Vanity area lights, flushed with the wall below the window... Master Toilet Vanity Light The Vanity Area light is smaller in size compared to the Master Toilet light...
  13. Let There be Light Some of the lights are fixed up... At least now i can visit the house at night without having to bring a torch... haa. Before that, let me introduce our new Wrought Iron Gate... Living Room Views 3 rows of 3 lights are bright enough for the whole living room... We arent getting any ceiling light at the living area.. But there will be a hanging light at the dining area... Common Room Light A simple one will do for this room...
  14. Some Updated 3D Designs Walk-in Wardrobe 3D Design (Version 2) We requested to change the internal layout of the cabinets abit... Walk-in Wardrobe 3D Design (With Doors) Our Walk-in Wardrobe comes with doors, so this will be the look with the doors. Haa.. Normally WIW is already a wardrobe by itself, so usually there is no need for doors. But we are worried the wardrobe will look untidy without the doors (We realise if we have colourful clothes, it doesnt go well with the design... So, better to hide the clothes behind close doors), and also, we do not want dust and mositure and smell (from the Master Toilet) to go onto the clothes. So, we requested for doors. Dressing Table (Version 2) Only change is that we prefer a one colour dressing table (white in this case) instead of having one section with another colour in previous version. Master Toilet (Version 2) The one piece of different colour cabinet is changed to a homogeneous one colour cabinet. Also, we reminded the ID (Calis) that we did not hack away the wall of the original toilet, so this is the design with the wall. And the basin we bought is rectangular instead of the oval one proposed in previous design.
  15. Erm.. thanks.. But then, i am realistic... The actual finished product will definitely not look like what's in the 3D Designs.. As long as they are 80% close, i am satisfied.. haa.. My reno also not that smooth, because of my ID being hospitalised and on long medical leave recently... So, it was delayed for a week plus already... But we not rushing to move in so still can afford to wait awhile...
  16. If the door of your TV Console is the glass door, then you still can use remote control to control your SCV and DVD player... If it is like mine which is opaque, then have to open when you wanna use remote control... You can also choose not to have any doors for the console Haa.. ID reflected this problem to us... and we decided to choose aesthetic over practicality... So, everytime we want to watch TV or DVD, we shall open the TV console door. If your house has children running around, then it might be a problem because they might knock into the open doors.
  17. Haa.. Threaten that if he dont agree to get one, he has to carry the bamboo poles out himself cos you dont have strength to carry..
  18. Oh ok! Congrats!!! Did you go to their showroom to take a look? It is in Bishan... I havent gone to see their system yet (and i already signed for it) because i saw the system from Tames Promotion Services so i assume theirs to be of the same system...
  19. Yes Zelly. Thank you for reminding us about the cabinet load... If we mount the cabinets to the feature wall, it might not be as strong as mounting onto the wall (afterall, feature walls are just made of thin partition board)... I have to ask my contractors what is the weight limit for the feature wall... But then, I cant think of anything heavier than books that we might be putting in those cabinets. They are not that big to put big heavy stuff too... So, most probably the cabinets will be just for putting CDs, DVDs, photo abums, Wii Games, books, boardgames, etc... I guess it should be able to hold the weight of these light stuff... Will confirm with the ID...
  20. If you look carefully, Option 2 do not have a feature wall since the TV is not mounted by standing on the console.. The 2 cabinets are mounted onto the wall whereas for the other 2 designs with feature wall, the cabinets & TV are mounted onto the feature wall... I am not choosing Option 2 because i want to mount my TV, so we require a feature wall to do that.. Actually, It is possible to mount the TV directly onto the wall (instead of onto the feature wall).. But then all your TV wires will be hanging down from behind which is **** ugly.. That is the current state of my current house,... The TV is directly mounted to the wall and all the wires hanging behind.. The feature wall is more for aesthetic purpose, for mounting the TV, to conceal the wires and also act as a decorations to your living room, thats why people choose nice designs for the feature wall....
  21. Take a look at this.. http://www.ezziliving.com/ I ordered the pull down and push out Ezi Hi Dry system.. where i can push the clothes out to sun... They quoted $630... There is another Company selling the same system, Tames Promotion Services but their quote is too high at $788... Crazy loh.. such a big difference...
  22. I saw roughly these designs online.. maybe its the same angmoh designs... haa We wont do alot of cooking... My mum cooks alot in my current house without a hood... But seems ok thats why we will not be installing a hood... Probably have to spend more effort cleaning the glass backing and walls after cooking. So, you not going to wall mount your TV since you choosing option 2? The plus point of not wall mounting your TV is you dont need a feature wall, can save money.. Yah.. I know what you mean for option 3... The ID told us that too...
  23. Oh ok.. Maybe i should think of protecting the solid top too... The black rubber leg might cause a black mark on the white solid top under heat stress, right? haa.. Maybe can look for those place mat (which wont melt of course) to be placed below the oven.
  24. Yah.. the wire will go into the feature wall and down to the console area where the power points are...
  25. Hey.. What is the reason for the oven to sit on a tile? Or is it a temporary measure? I thought the oven should have a "rubber leg" beneath to prevent it from scratching the solid surface top?
