  1. Hi, Noko. Sorry for my late reply... just shifted in on last Saturday... it was really tiring and still doing unpacking now. I will pm you my ID contact shortly, goodluck to your reno journey.
  2. Thanks mafacifa. The reason why i choose glass door and glass partitions is my dining area is between studyroom and kitchen. There is no windows nearby, so have to use glass to make the dining area brighter. In fact my wife was quite worried whether this idea is practical or not. But the end result is quite OK imo
  3. Thanks, sister butterfingerzz^^ yeah.. it's quite a smooth reno for me. Luckily I listened to your advice for engaging my ID but it's really tiring to pack before move house LOL My wife is complaining that my stuff (mostly toys) took too much space... so i have to move my stuff myself before D-day
  4. hehe.. so it's ok lah... i thought u trimed everything LOL
  5. Told u leh.. it's GSS promotion... ended on 30 Jun.. that's why I bought my basin and toilet bowls when my reno was still at hacking stage..
  6. similar to mine? LOL I hope you are not talking about the irritating pipes that I have to boxup Err. why excluding the blum system? I think it will not add a lot into the total cost, right? it's worth the additiona cost if you can afford Especially when you got kids at home.
  7. LOL we bought the same toilet bowles, common toilet basin and common toilet paper holder. my total damage at heritage is about 2k, which is excluding all taps and shower system. Because I bought them seperately at Hansgrophe. I think it's pretty decent bah
  8. Yeah.. got quite a lot toys hehe.. it's a headache to pack them before moving house. so far my reno experience with my ID is quite pleasant one.. already engaged mover on 7 Aug leh
  9. I understand what you mean. In fact, I can choose either to terminate opennet access point **** room or study room. If it terminates **** room, I just need to connect it to the LAN point **** area and then connect my router's uplink to the respective LAN socket in my study room. But if device **** room requires direct connection, I will choose to terminte it at my study room. Anyway, my study room and living room are just different side of the wall. So I don't think the actual distance will differ much btw study room and living room.
  10. Yes.. Glass backing for the whole kitchen. errr.. i do not know what you mean by special design.. because I am not particular about the corner area. normally I will store those items not required to access regularly. As for wok, ports and pans, there are plenty of big drawers or stroage with pull down or casement door. we choose pull-down door under the hob. Hope it helps, matrix0405.
  11. My ID plan all the blower on top of bed room doors to minimize the aircon pipe trunking. Besides Bed Room 3, the other 2 bed rooms and study room with very minimum exposing piping. Here is the details: Aircon condenser is located at Bed Room 2 window Bed room 3 got a lot piping Piping links to MBR was boxup at Bedroom passageway Study Room piping was consealed into partition for glass door: They are under my ID package. so I did not know their price if buying seperately. Yeah.. We are quite pleased with the Reno so far. Though there are some minor touchups, I think it is normal for any reno. In fact, both my wife and I are quite easy going person. Probably that's why~ LOL

Hehe... we got the exactly same thinking... that's why we also bought a lot stuff during the GSS... but come to packing now pack till i wanna cry I would give it a second thought for those unnecessary items...
  13. Hmm i got my one crizto bowl and bathroom sink @ 288 at Heritage during GSS. It's a steal imo, as my wife and I are not very picky in toilet stuff Bro darth, you might want to ask your ID to check with Heritage to see whether he can match the sales package price or not. 1.3k for lighting is not very ex imo. All my lightings cost me 1.7k already

  20. Pasieh.. I was busy packing stuff, so did not check renotalk forum as often as before. For the paint color, I need to check with my ID, who picks the color for us. My wife and I were just lazy to note down the color code.
  21. The 30 pcs set is dirty cheap imo, 99 bucks only I'm confused by your post ... becoz you mentioned in livestorey.. then i go google it.. endup I went to great world city today I was thinking how come ne0mesis can get rug at 200++ only
  22. Thanks, Bro Darth Vader. I do not want to reveal my ID in public before reno completes. Please check your PM Life storey @ taiseng warehouse? are they selling rugs at lower price compared with its outlet @ Great World City? The price at its Great World City outlet is . . . . Oh.. now I know the answer leh...
  23. You need to choose a centralized location to be your network hub in order to setup LAN network at home. For my case, I choose my study room to be the network hub, where my router will be. I asked my electrician to wire up CAT 6 network cable in all 3 of my bed rooms and living area, which will link up with 4 network points in the study room. So as long as I connected all 4 network points in study room with router, I can access to internet through wired connection from 3 bed rooms and living area. However, wired connection DOES NOT mean lag free internet access. Again, it has to depend on the condition of your internet connection (i.e. your ISP). Wired connection will only minimize network slowdown due to wireless connection, which is usually affected by the wireless signal receiption. As for opennet, it is just another way to connect to internet. Starhub broadband is connected via SCV point, while Singnet is connected via telephone line. Opennet only setups the optical network and it is not an ISP. it will be up to Singnet and Starhub to decide whether and when to use the optical network to provide internet connection. Hope my explanation will not confuse you
  24. Hey, samgalz. Thanks for your tips! I will pay a visit to jacksons design hub in next weekend. Rugs with price tag of 500++ is way out of our budget. Even though IKEA one is not the ideal choice, we got no other choice at the moment. Hopefully we can find the right one in jacksons design hub
  25. Err.. my vent fan is KDK one.. but i did not know the model number and it price.. because it was throw in by my ID when I decided to change new windows and grills for the whole house.
